Day 1
Morning: You will be collected from your Mombasa or Diani hotel at 06:30 and begin the scenic drive inland. Mid-morning: Brief comfort and coffee stop at Mariakani weighing bridge, then continue through colourful coastal villages. Afternoon: Enter Tsavo East around noon; first exciting game drive along the Galana River and red-oasis of Aruba Dam. Arrive Ashnil Aruba Lodge for lunch overlooking the waterhole where elephants and buffalo gather. Relax by the pool, then enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for the park’s famous maneless lions and herds of red-dusted elephants. Evening: Sunset from the lodge terrace, dinner under the stars, and overnight at beautiful Ashnil Aruba Lodge. The vast red plains stretch like a burning sea under the equatorial sun. Baobab silhouettes stand like ancient guardians while dust devils dance across the horizon. As night falls, the Milky Way spills across the sky and lions roar so close that you feel it in your chest. Mid-range lodge located inside Tsavo East NP Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
Morning: Early breakfast with animals drinking at the dam right in front of the lodge, then depart Tsavo East. Mid-morning: Scenic drive via the Voi–Taveta road, passing sisal estates and colourful roadside markets. Afternoon: Enter Amboseli National Park; as you descend the plains, the perfect snow-capped dome of Kilimanjaro suddenly rises before you. Game drive through Observation Hill and the swamps, watching huge elephant families and giraffe against the mountain backdrop. Arrive Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for a late lunch with panoramic Kilimanjaro views. Sunset turns the mountain rose-gold, dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. In a single heartbeat the world changes: the red dust of Tsavo gives way to cool golden grasslands and there, impossibly tall and luminous, stands Kilimanjaro – a dream made of ice and legend. Hundreds of elephants move like slow shadows across the shimmering swamps, their ivory catching the light like cathedral candles. Mid-range lodge located just outside Amboseli NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
Morning: Dawn game drive for the classic Kilimanjaro sunrise – elephants silhouetted in glowing amber light, a moment you will treasure forever. Mid-morning: Return to the lodge for full breakfast, then relax or enjoy bird-watching on the grounds. Afternoon: Second game drive across the lake beds and swamps – hundreds of elephants, buffalo, zebra, and possibly lion or cheetah. Climb Observation Hill for sweeping 360° views of the park and the mountain. Evening: Final sunset over Kilimanjaro from the lodge terrace, farewell dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. At first light the sky ignites behind the mountain and the world turns molten gold; elephant matriarchs lead their families across the mirror-like swamps in perfect silhouette. A cool wind carries the scent of acacia and distant rain as crowned cranes dance in the shallows. When the sun finally sinks, Kilimanjaro blushes deep rose and the stars come out one by one above Africa’s roof. Mid-range lodge located just outside Amboseli NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
Morning: As you wake up, enjoy breakfast with one last magnificent view of Kilimanjaro glowing in the sunrise. Mid-morning: Depart Amboseli and begin the gentle drive north. Afternoon: Comfort stop at Emali or along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway, then continue through open plains and Chyulu Hills. Arrive Nairobi in the early to mid-afternoon (around 14:00–15:00) and be dropped at your city hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The mountain stands behind you one final time, its snows catching the morning light like a promise. The savannah slowly fades into rolling hills and distant city buildings. You carry home the red dust of Tsavo on your shoes and the eternal image of Kilimanjaro in your heart. Your unforgettable private safari ends here with warm smiles and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for letting Kenya touch your soul – karibuni tena, you are always welcome back! 5.0/5I went on safari with Iyana Africa Tours and Safaris on Christmas Day, and it turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. Just two days before, I called Alfred to arrange a quick two-day safari to Tsavo East from Mombasa. Despite the short notice, he acted swiftly, kept us updated throughout, and managed to secure a beautiful lodge for us. To make the experience even better, Alfred sent us an exceptional guide, Samson, whose knowledge and experience truly elevated the trip. Samson was jovial, witty, and full of fun; he seemed to know exactly where the elephants were hiding in Tsavo East, which made every game drive exciting. His energy and humor added so much joy to our Christmas adventure. We are deeply grateful to Alfred and Samson for turning our last-minute plan into such a memorable safari. They really spiced up our Christmas, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Iyana Africa Tours and Safaris any day, anytime!

My friends and I had an amazing and extraordinary experience across Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Thank you so much Alfred - I remember your assurance during the call we had when planning and the amazing Isaac. Hats off to Isaac, who was our tour guide. We will definitely be back and with no one else but Iyana Africa Tours and Safaris!

Through Iyana Africa Tours and Safaris, our safari in Kenya was effortless and enjoyable. Everything went as planned. Our communication with Nicholas was honest and professional. The whole team from Iyana including Isaac, our tour guide created an atmosphere of trust and confidence. More flowers to Isaac who ensured that we never missed any magical adventure throughout the trip. He added meaning to every little thing that we saw, from birds, making stops for us to enjoy young cabs trying to hunt in Masai Mara, trying to teach us local names of animals - Isaac was a joy to be with. He never rushed the pace of the trip ensuring that we were relaxed and enjoying the beauty of the savannah. I am glad that we chose Iyana Africa Tours and Safaris as our preferred company! Definitely stars for Iyana!

I have been to a couple of African countries but I must say Iyana Africa exceeded my expectations. Everything from communication upon placing the request, the itinerary organization and whole safari experience was just amazing. Nicholas was my first contact and was very professional I even wished he could be my tour guide. Upon landing at the airport, Nicholas and Alfred were there to receive me with some gifts, this really humbled me! I was lucky to be given the latest jeep for my safari, SHEM the driver and tour guide was very proficient and had an answer to all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and knew where exactly to go to spot the animals. I was lucky to see all the big five as Nicholas had promised. If you are planning to visit Kenya, I highly recommend Iyana Africa Tours and Safaris. Thank you so much Iyana Africa Tours team especially Nicholas, Alfred and Shem. Keep up the excellent work you are doing.
