Day 1
You'll depart for the Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa Road. The morning drive is via a typical African savannah country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Maasai herdsmen grazing their cattle. You'll arrive in time for lunch and later venture into the park for the scheduled afternoon game-viewing drive. You will spot the many herds of elephants up close in the park —it's no wonder that the park is the best place in Africa to spot such herds. The park is also home to many other species, such as the Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, Maasai giraffe, zebra, and blue wildebeest, among other animals. The birdlife is also abundant, with both large and small species. Weather permitting, Amboseli National Park offers a vista of the scenic snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, which makes it a perfect site for photography. It is the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge. Mid-range lodge located just outside Amboseli NP Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
You'll have another day to enjoy a full-day game-viewing extravaganza in Amboseli. With its reputation for active elephant sightings, it’s easy to spot them roaming the plains in the morning and evening. During much of the day, you can observe them splashing and foraging in the Ol Okenya Swamp. You will also stop at Observation Hill to view the sprawling, breathtaking view of Amboseli. You may opt to have the full-day game drive; otherwise, you can also choose to do the game drives in separate sessions so that you may have a chance to enjoy the lodge facilities. The driver-guide will be readily available to discuss your daily activities as per your preferences, including an optional visit to a Maasai village (at an extra cost). Every safari is different according to your wishes, likes, and expectations. Just let us know how you would like to customize your special journey. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge. Mid-range lodge located just outside Amboseli NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
You'll have an early breakfast and then check out and proceed to Tsavo West National Park. The park is commonly known as the “Land of Lava, Springs, Man-Eaters & Magical Sunsets”. From the sight of 50 million gallons of crystal-clear water gushing out from the underparched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises open grasslands, scrublands, acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation, and rocky ridges, including the Poacher's Lookout, where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the best game viewing in the world. The attractions include elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, and diverse plant and bird species, including the threatened corncrake and near-threatened Basra reed warbler. You'll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Later, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 4
After breakfast, you will depart with an en-route wildlife-viewing drive for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary hosts over 50 large mammals that include elephants, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, varied antelopes, and an array of over 390 bird species. Your stay will be at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, a favorite amongst many travelers. The lodge overlooks a waterhole and is linked by suspended walkways. At night, the waterholes are floodlit, ensuring that you enjoy an uninterrupted view of the numerous animals quenching their thirst. The elevated restaurant and the bar, a level higher, also offer views of the sanctuary and are the ideal vantage points to view the wildlife. The neighboring Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa has a museum that displays some of the World War 1 memorabilia as part of the rich history of Taita Taveta County. You'll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 5
After breakfast, you'll exit the sanctuary with wildlife viewing en route and proceed to drop you off at Mombasa or Diani.
