Day 1
Fly from Addis to Semera
You'll take a flight from Addis to Semara and drive for about 5-6 hours to reach Hamed Ela. You'll swim in Lake Afdera and then have your lunch. You'll visit Lake Asale, a lake with salt flats. You'll enjoy a drink in a stunning place. You'll experience swimming in the salt lake and enjoy open-air camping at Hamed Ela. All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks

Day 2
Dalol- Erta Ale Visit (Volcano)
After breakfast, you'll drive to the colorful attractions of Dalol, which is located at -125 below sea level. You'll visit the different landscapes formed by volcanic activity, Dallol, Lake Assal, and camel caravans. You'll enjoy driving to Erta Ale for about 4 hours, passing through a changing landscape of solidified lava rock and sand after passing several small hamlets scattered here and there in this deserted land. You'll have your short break and early dinner. You'll start trekking for about 1 hour to Ertale and experience watching the dramatic action of the boiling lava. You'll trek back to the basic camp basement to spend the night and sleep under the stars. All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks

Day 3
Drive to Afdera-Semera and Fly back Addis Ababa
You'll visit boiling lava again and have your breakfast. You'll drive to Afdera for about 2 hours and visit the cultural village of Afdera there unique house construction. You'll drive on an asphalt road to Semera for about 3:30 hours. You will take a flight from Semera Airport to fly to Addis. You'll stay overnight at the hotel. Fly Addis Ababa- Lalibela Rock Hewn Churches
You'll explore the first group of Lalibela churches You'll take the flight to Lalibela. Upon arrival in Lalibela, you'll transfer to a hotel for lunch and visit the first group of Lalibela churches: Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Maryam, Bete Meskel, Bete Danaghel, Bete Mikael, and Bete Golgotha, which are connected through an underground tunnel. You'll discover some boasting carved bas-reliefs and colorful frescoes. You'll take a rest and stay overnight in the hotel. Fly Back to Addis Ababa and City Tour
In the morning, you'll visit the remaining churches of Lalibela. Then, you'll transfer to the airport and take the afternoon flight back to Addis. You'll embark on a city tour in Addis Ababa. You'll visit Entoto Mountain, Merkato, and the national museum, where you can shop. You'll enjoy a farewell dinner and coffee ceremony with traditional folklore music. Kena is great tour guide.
We enjoyed a wonderful tour of the National Museum, Entoto, and a walking tour of Mercato. We also enjoyed the palace of Menelik II, very peaceful, and we had a delicious lunch on the way back to town. We also went to Shiromeda market for the best Ethiopian fabrics. Kena explained a lot of the culture and history as well. Great day seeing the sights.
