Day 1
Nairobi – Fly to Masai Mara - Afternoon Game Drive
Your adventure begins in Nairobi, where you’ll make your own way to Wilson Airport in the morning for a scenic flight over the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara. Upon landing on one of the reserve’s bush airstrips, you’ll be met by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge or luxury tented camp in the heart of the reserve. After settling in and enjoying lunch, you’ll head out for your first game drive across the rolling savannahs of the Masai Mara. This afternoon safari offers an excellent opportunity to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and, if you're lucky, predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Return to camp in the evening for a sundowner, followed by dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness. Safari in the Masai Mara
After an early morning wake-up and breakfast, you’ll set off for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch packed for the bush. The Masai Mara is home to the famous Big Five and hosts an incredible diversity of wildlife year-round. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the great migration — thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River in dramatic scenes of survival. Your professional guide will take you to key wildlife areas, waterholes, and scenic viewpoints. In the late afternoon, return to camp to relax by the fire or enjoy a hot shower before dinner is served. Overnight at your safari lodge or camp. Fly to Nairobi - Connect to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you'll connect to a scheduled flight to Zanzibar. A short flight later, you’ll arrive in Zanzibar, where you'll be met and transferred to your beachfront hotel or resort. Check in, unwind, and take in your first sunset on the island, with the evening at leisure to enjoy dinner and relax to the sound of the Indian Ocean. We had a great time in Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli. The tour was well organized, with beautiful lodges (we loved Satao Camp and Severin Safari Camp), John was very helpful and also helped to organize a birthday surprise for a friend, Amos our tour guide was just awesome, he gave everything to make our tour unforgettable.
