Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After having breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your guide will pick you up and begin your safari adventure. Drive through the “land of giants”, Tarangire National Park, crossing endless golden savannah along the Tarangire River. The park is famous for its elephants and massive baobab trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch with scenic river views, just watch out for playful monkeys looking for a treat! After an action-packed game drive, head to your chosen accommodation for dinner and a good rest. Day 2
Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
We depart early after breakfast, head across the Great Rift Valley floor, up the escarpment, and traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the pleasant and scenic drive as you experience the beautiful scenery and breathtaking vistas on your way to the Serengeti. Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive until late. Lunch is taken at one of the picnic sites, most likely at the Naabi Hill Gate, where you can stretch your legs. Visit the famous Maasai bomas to get close to the Maasai community. Participate in traditional Maasai dancing and walk through a Maasai village. Their culture is well known for hunting lions, and to be considered a warrior, they drink raw cow blood (though these traditions are things of the past, except for drinking blood). Serengeti National Park to Karatu
An early breakfast will lift your mood, and a sunrise game drive through the Serengeti plains will provide the best opportunity to see lions, leopards, and other predators in action. The sunrise in the Serengeti is breathtaking, with the rising sun appearing to set the plains on fire. We explore the infinite Serengeti grasslands after lunch at the picnic site. After that, we will set out for Ngorongoro to your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day. Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater
Experience a one-of-a-kind drive inside an ancient volcano packed with incredible wildlife and right in the heart of the action. After an early breakfast, we will start our much-anticipated trip to Ngorongoro Crater. The earlier you descend to the crater floor, the higher your chances of spotting rare species like black rhinos. Spend the majority of the morning visiting the Ngorongoro Crater. With its 600- to 650-meter-high walls, it resembles a natural zoo and has the highest concentration of wild animals. Following your picnic lunch, most likely at the designated picnic place beside the hippo pool, you will drive up the crater rim and out of the conservation area. Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, you will depart from your accommodation and head to Lake Manyara National Park. After a short tour of the market, you will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park, where you can take many photos. Bird lovers will find Lake Manyara an absolute delight, with abundant birdlife. Since it's a birding destination, you will not only be amazed, but also surprised, by large flocks of flamingos and many other varieties of birds. The park is a photographer’s playground and offers some of the finest game viewing in the world. After enjoying the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel in Arusha, where the tour will end. From day 1, Antonia was super helpful helping us plan this trip. She answered my million questions and explained everything very detailed to make sure my trip was just as I wanted and kept communication going the whole time. Since we arrived in Tanzania the service we received from Serengeti African tours was 5 stars. Amazing
As nature lovers, this safari has been a turning point in our lives. A unique and unforgettable experience where the animals come to see you, not the other way around—this is when you truly realize what real freedom is. It’s true that luck plays a role, but having such an experienced guide like Mathew allowed us to enjoy the trip to the fullest and have truly incredible encounters. My favorite moment was when a pregnant leopard calmly decided to visit us right next to the 4x4. Situations like that only happen when the driver knows how to handle the vehicle and always maintains respect for wildlife. He also explained every detail about the parks and was very open with us—we had a great time! A 100% recommended experience.
