Rise early to the sight of Mount Kilimanjaro bathed in soft morning light and set out for a full‑day exploration of Amboseli National Park. The morning drive takes you across open plains where elephants march in family herds, giraffes stretch gracefully toward acacia trees, and predators may be spotted returning from the night’s hunt. By midday, pause for a picnic lunch in the shade, with sweeping views of the savannah and marshlands. In the afternoon, continue deeper into the park, where hippos wallow in swamps, buffalo graze in the tall grasses, and dazzling birdlife fills the skies. Amboseli National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Amboseli National Park and begin the scenic drive north toward the Great Rift Valley. The journey takes you past bustling towns, rolling farmlands, and dramatic escarpments, with occasional glimpses of volcanic peaks. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at the lodge, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive across the park’s diverse habitats, wooded hillsides, open grasslands, and the shimmering lakeshore. Nakuru is famed for its flocks of flamingos and pelicans, as well as rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, and tree‑climbing lions.
