Day 1
Rise early and set out on an unforgettable journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most iconic national park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rare opportunity to track rhinos on foot with experienced rangers — a thrilling encounter that completes the African Big Five experience in Uganda. After lunch, continue north through scenic countryside towards the park. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge before heading out for an evening game drive in search of lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants, and other wildlife as the savannah comes alive at sunset. Day 2
Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and enjoy an early morning tea or coffee before setting out for a sunrise game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Explore the northern sector of the park in search of lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeests, oribis, and an incredible variety of birdlife as the savannah comes alive with the first light of day. Return to the lodge for lunch and a short time to relax before your afternoon adventure. Later, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the legendary Nile River towards the base of the mighty Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and waterbucks gathering at the water’s edge. The cruise ends near the base of the falls, where you will begin a guided hike to the top for breathtaking views of the Nile squeezing powerfully through a narrow gorge before crashing below. Return to the lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and overnight stay. Mid-range lodge located just outside Murchison Falls NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse and scenic wildlife destinations. Enjoy lunch en route as you journey through rolling green hills, traditional African villages, tea and banana plantations, and vibrant countryside landscapes that offer a glimpse into everyday Ugandan life. Arrive at the lodge in the late afternoon or early evening and settle in surrounded by the beauty of the wilderness. If time permits, head out for an evening game drive in search of wildlife as the savannah begins to cool and come alive before sunset. Day 4
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience in Kalinzu Forest Reserve. Upon arrival, you will receive a briefing from experienced guides before setting off on a guided forest walk in search of habituated chimpanzees. As you move through the lush tropical forest, listen to the calls echoing through the trees and witness these fascinating primates in their natural habitat — a truly thrilling wildlife encounter. Later in the afternoon, return to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a scenic boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel. This wildlife-rich waterway offers exceptional sightings of elephants, hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, and a remarkable variety of birdlife, including the rare shoebill stork. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Mid-range lodge located just outside Kyambura Gorge (Chimps) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a scenic game drive through the remote Ishasha Sector, famously known for its rare tree-climbing lions. Explore this vast savannah landscape in search of lions resting high in ancient fig trees, while also spotting topis, elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife roaming the plains. Enjoy lunch in Ishasha before continuing your journey towards Bwindi. Along the way, watch the landscape transform dramatically from open savannah and rolling cultivated hills to the dense, mist-covered rainforest of Uganda’s legendary gorilla country. Day 6
Enjoy an early breakfast before transferring to the briefing point for the highlight of your Ugandan adventure — mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a detailed briefing from park rangers, set out on a guided trek through dense rainforest, bamboo-covered slopes, and misty mountain terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere between 3 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas, but the moment you come face to face with a majestic silverback and its family in the wild is an experience beyond words. After this extraordinary encounter, return to the lodge for a late lunch and a relaxed afternoon at leisure. Take time to unwind, enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings, or indulge in a soothing massage at the lodge if desired. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. 5.0/5Exploring Rwanda’s cultural roots was truly enriching! From the King’s Palace Museum to the Ethnographic Museum, every stop offered powerful insight and learning. I had the pleasure of experiencing it all with 49 students—and as a teacher, I found myself learning just as much. We wrapped up the day with a lovely lunch and great conversations. Special thanks to Gorille Africain Tours for their smooth coordination—highly recommended for school trips and educational tours!

What a day to remember in Kigali! I had the joy of exploring this beautiful city with 50 of my amazing students. We visited the Campaign Against Genocide Museum, strolled through the serene Nyandungu Eco Park, and enjoyed a delicious lunch and guided tour at Umusambi Village — a perfect blend of history, nature, and reflection. Beyond our own tour, I also had the pleasure of coordinating several school trips with Gorille Africain Tours — and every single one was smooth, enriching, and professionally handled. Highly recommend them for educational and group experiences. Truly an exceptional experience from start to finish!
