Your safari begins at City Market Muindi Mbingu Street with a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley into the Masai Mara, Kenya's most famous reserve and home to incredible wildlife concentrations. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by your first thrilling afternoon game drive across the sweeping plains where lions, elephants, giraffes, and cheetahs roam freely. Dinner and overnight accommodation are at a lodge or camp within or near the reserve. Masai Mara Full Game Drive
Spend the entire day exploring the vast Masai Mara, with morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five and the abundant plains game. Depending on the season, you may witness the dramatic spectacle of the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River. Optional activities include a hot-air balloon safari at sunrise or a visit to a Maasai village. Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru, a scenic drive that brings you to the flamingo-fringed lake known for its birdlife, rhinos, and tree-climbing lions. After lunch, enjoy a game drive inside the park. The acacia forests and rocky cliffs provide stunning backdrops for wildlife photography. After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600 meters to the floor of this extinct volcanic caldera. Often called “Africa’s Eden”, the crater teems with wildlife, including rhinos, lions, hyenas, zebras, and wildebeest. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before beginning the journey back to Arusha for an overnight stay.
