Day 2
Exploring the Lower Zambezi
Fly by light aircraft to the Lower Zambezi, where the river shapes each day. Settle into Baines’ River Camp and experience life on the water’s edge, where the Zambezi is your constant companion. Days unfold along forested banks and wide floodplains, with wildlife drawn to the river’s edge. Watch elephants wade across channels, hippos surface beside the boat, and fish eagles call overhead. From Camp you can enjoy canoe safaris drifting quietly along hidden channels, guided walks through riverside woodland, relaxed boat cruises at sunset, catch and release fishing, and classic game drives. Follow the Zambezi to Victoria Falls
Continue downstream to Livingstone, where the Zambezi widens and the journey shifts from immersion to awe.
