Nairobi- Masai Mara
Your safari adventure begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi to the world-renowned Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife reserve. En route, stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint to admire its dramatic escarpments and panoramic landscapes before continuing to Narok for a hot lunch. Proceed through rolling plains and Maasai homelands toward the Mara, where endless savannahs welcome you. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing drink and seamless check-in at your comfortable safari camp. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the camp, or opt for a visit to a Maasai village at an extra cost to experience their rich culture and traditional way of life. Masai Mara Game Viewing
Have breakfast and set off for a full day Game Drive and enjoy the beautiful Mara savannah grassland landscape on rolling hills and its ‘residents’. It is best known for wildebeest migration which is seasonal between the months of July, August and September. If lucky enough you will view the Big 5 in complete but you won’t miss one or two of the big five if not all. It is home to a variety of birds species which is a magnificent site. Have a picnic lunch in the wilderness then proceed with the search for wild animals till late evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp. Have breakfast and proceed for an enroute game drive as you exit the Mara, enjoying final wildlife sightings before departing for Nakuru with a lunch stop in Mai Mahiu. Enjoy the beautiful sight of Mount Longonot on your way and views of Lake Naivasha from afar. You may engage in optional activities such as a boat ride and a visit to Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha if time allows and at an extra cost. Then proceed to Nakuru for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel. Enjoy sightings of animals such as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and various bird species as you explore the park’s scenic landscapes. After the game drive, depart for Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Travel via Nairobi and continue along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway, enjoying scenic views along the journey. Arrive in Amboseli in the evening in time for dinner and overnight stay at the camp. After a morning game drive, you depart the Serengeti and head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at the crater rim, you enjoy breathtaking panoramic views into the caldera. You descend into the crater for a game drive on the fertile floor, home to black rhinos, hippos, buffalo, flamingos, and dense predator populations. Overnight on the crater rim or nearby highlands. After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After lunch, ascend back to the crater rim and begin your scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari.
