Fly to Gondar - Simien Mountains
You will fly from Addis to Gondar and drive north toward the Simien Mountains. Begin exploring dramatic escarpments, deep valleys, and jagged peaks. Enjoy your first hike along panoramic trails with chances to see Gelada baboons grazing on cliffs and possibly Walia ibex. The scenery is spectacular with sweeping mountain views. Simien Mountain Exploration - fly back to Addis
Full day trekking in the Simien Mountains. Walk through highland grasslands and dramatic ridges with breathtaking viewpoints. Spot endemic wildlife such as Chelada baboon klipspringers, and various bird species. The cool mountain climate and peaceful landscapes make this a highlight of the trip drive back to Gonder to cach the evening flight to Addis. Drive to Awash National park

Early morning game drive in Awash for better wildlife viewing. After breakfast, continue to Aledeghi Wildlife Reserve. This semi-arid savannah is known for large herds of Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich. Enjoy an afternoon drive across open plains with wide African skies. Drive up to the spectacular Sanetti Plateau, one of Africa’s highest all-weather roads. The afro-alpine habitat is home to the endangered Ethiopian wolf. Harenna Forest
After breakfast, explore deeper into Harenna Forest, walking along natural trails surrounded by bamboo groves and towering trees. Visit local coffee farms and experience traditional forest coffee culture. Keep an eye out for birdlife and hidden wildlife. After lunch, begin the scenic drive back via the Bale Mountains, enjoying final views of the plateau and valleys before returning to Goba or Dinsho.
