08:00 am: You'll have a pick-up from your hotel and drive to Akagera National Park, with a short stop at Imigongo Art Centre. You'll arrive at the park for a briefing before heading out on a game drive, searching for lions, elephants, rhinos, and other wildlife. You'll break for lunch at Lake Mihindi Restaurant. Then, you'll continue exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife. As the sun sets, you will head to Mantis Akagera Game Lodge for check-in and relaxation. Akagera National Park - Kigali (2h30)
07:00 am: You'll have breakfast at the lodge. Then, you'll transfer to Lake Ihema for a guided boat safari, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and rare birds. You'll continue with a game drive through the park, exploring giraffe-dotted plains and lakeside trails, with a chance to see leopards, buffalo, and antelope species. You'll stop for lunch at Lake Mihindi Restaurant. Then, you'll exit the park by 4:30 pm. You'll drive back to Kigali, arriving by 7:00 pm for drop-off at your hotel. Exploring Rwanda’s cultural roots was truly enriching! From the King’s Palace Museum to the Ethnographic Museum, every stop offered powerful insight and learning. I had the pleasure of experiencing it all with 49 students—and as a teacher, I found myself learning just as much. We wrapped up the day with a lovely lunch and great conversations. Our Tour started from Kigali, we went to Akagera N Park it was a wonderful experience we saw most of the big five : elephants, rhinos, lions ( alot of them thanks to the Tour Guide) , African Buffalo , we also did a boat ride saw different birds it’s was a wonderful experience
