Day 1
You'll depart Nairobi early in the morning and embark on a scenic road journey through the central highlands and into the remote wilderness of Meru National Park. You'll arrive at Hotel Ezri in time for lunch. After some rest and enjoying the sweeping views from your hotel, you'll set out for your first afternoon game drive. The park’s landscape is a dramatic mix of riverine forests, doum palms, and open grasslands—home to a diverse range of wildlife including elephants, lions, cheetahs, rare Grevy’s zebras, and over 400 bird species. You'll return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner under the stars. Mid-range hotel located in Meru (Town) Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, you'll venture out for a full-day game viewing experience with a picnic lunch. Today, you’ll explore more remote corners of the park, including the Murera and Rojewero rivers, where crocodiles bask and hippos wallow. You'll visit the Rhino Sanctuary, a secure area within the park that protects both black and white rhinos—an excellent opportunity for close sightings. Meru’s relative isolation means fewer visitors and more intimate encounters with wildlife. In the afternoon, you might visit the site of Elsa the lioness’s grave, made famous by Joy and George Adamson’s story Born Free. You'll return to the hotel for a relaxing evening, followed by a candle-lit dinner. Mid-range hotel located in Meru (Town) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
You'll enjoy a leisurely breakfast and check out of the hotel. You'll begin your journey back to Nairobi with en-route scenic stops as desired. You'll arrive in the city by late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of a soulful safari in one of Kenya’s most unspoiled wilderness areas. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
