Kilimanjaro Hike

You will be picked up in the morning at your hotel in Moshi and taken to the Kilimanjaro National Park gate (Marangu Gate, 1,860m). The drive will take approximately 1 hour. Your trek can begin, and you will soon be hiking through the dense Kilimanjaro rainforest. With impressive vegetation, you will have the chance to catch a glimpse of black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and various bird species. The guide will inform you about Kilimanjaro and explain the different species of plants and animals you will see. After a 3 to 4-hour hike, you will reach Mandara Hut (2,720m), rest and have lunch. Your guide will then take you on a short hike (15 minutes walking) to the Maundi Crater, where you will enjoy wonderful views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Afterwards, you'll descend to the Marangu Gate for 2 hours to the waiting vehicle. You'll transfer back to your hotel. On your return journey, you will enjoy the sunset and the day‘s memories. Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be met by our driver-guide who will deliver a short briefing. Afterwards, you'll head to the Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of acacia woodland and giant African baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. The river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals during Tanzania’s Dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to 3 rare species of animals; greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx, and ashy starling. You'll have a picnic lunch, after which you'll continue the game drive until late evening. Then, you'll drive to the accommodation for your overnight stay. Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Day 3

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning, you will drive via the cooler highlands towards the southern Serengeti and at midday, you will reach the plains of the Serengeti National Park. This park is the largest in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes - short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps and lakes. It also has bizarre rock formations called kopjes dotting the grassy landscape where predators are often seen. The Serengeti is famous for its yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water. You will spend the night at Tukaone Serengeti Camp inside the park. Mid-range tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Day 4

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

On the last day, you will descend over 600m into the crater to view wildlife for a half-day safari tour. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can be seen here. After lunch, you will ascend from the crater and return to Arusha where we will drop you to your hotel or Airport with the good memories of the tour. An Unforgettable Safari with Kismambi Tours!

We chose Kismambi Tours for our five-day safari in Tanzania, and we couldn't have made a better decision. From the very beginning, their organization was flawless. What truly made our safari extraordinary was our incredible guide, Dietet. He was not only an expert in wildlife but also a fantastic storyteller, making every moment more engaging. His passion, deep knowledge, and keen eye for spotting animals ensured that we had the best possible experience. Every day, he provided us with delicious packed lunches (included in the all-inclusive package we booked), which we enjoyed in designated areas within the parks, fully immersed in nature. It was a true 360° adventure into the wild heart of Tanzania—one we would gladly do again and highly recommend to everyone at least once in their lifetime. Our adventure began in Tarangire National Park, where we were mesmerized by the breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. Dietet always positioned us in the perfect spots, allowing us to capture amazing photos—even with a simple 50-200mm lens instead of a professional one! Then came the Serengeti, where we spent magical days witnessing nature at its finest. We were incredibly lucky to see two predator attacks—one by lions and one by cheetahs—one of which was successful and happened right next to our jeep! We witnessed incredible scenes of wildlife in their daily routines—lions resting, giraffes grazing, and herds of elephants on the move. Thanks to Dietet, we also managed to spot all of the Big Five, both in the Serengeti and later in the Ngorongoro Crater. The rhinos, often the hardest to find, appeared no less than five times—an absolute privilege to witness! As a wonderful bonus, Dietet even arranged an impromptu visit to a Maasai village, offering us an authentic and enriching cultural experience. Every aspect of the trip was worth every penny. The pricing was fair and transparent, especially considering the quality of service, the expertise of our guide, and the overall experience. There were no hidden costs or unpleasant surprises—just a seamlessly organized, unforgettable adventure. Throughout the trip, we always felt safe and well taken care of. This safari was truly a 360° immersion into the wild heart of Tanzania, an experience that exceeded all our expectations. If you're considering a safari, do it at least once in your lifetime—and when you do, choose Kismambi Tours. A huge thank you to Dietet and the entire Kismambi Tours team for making this an adventure we will treasure forever. See you soon!

Unforgettable Safari experience

We spent five fantastic days on safari between Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Everything was well organized, and the lodges offered a great balance between comfort and authenticity. A special mention goes to our guide, Deiter. He was incredibly kind, professional, and an excellent driver. Spending time with him made the experience even more special. Not only did he always ensure our safety and take care of our needs, but he also helped us connect with local customs and traditions. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience for both Safari, as well as Kilimanjaro climb.

In particularly, we wanted to book with a Tanzanian tour operator, so ended up at Kisambi tours, which was recommended to us by a friend. From the beginning onwards, Elisante was very helpful in discussing the possibilities for our tight schedule, and provided us with travel itineraries for all options. The communication beforehand was very smooth, making the preparations upon arrival in Moshi very pleasant. Upon arrival at the bus stop, we were picked up and since then, it felt like an 'adventurous all-inclusive holiday to never forget'. Both the climb as well as the safari were private (I think this is most often the case). We started with a 7 day Lemosho Kilimanjaro hike, in which we were accompanied by our guides Rama and Amani. The guides were super friendly, and knowledgable. The porters (8) made sure to arrive at the camp earlier than we did, in order to be able to change clothes immediately, or sit on the camping chair. It was nice to see that the porters and guides really team up (they always works together in this composition). We were truly amazed by the food that was prepared during the climb, especially considering the limited utilities. Upon arrival, hot water was provided for water/hot chocolate/ tea, accompanied by popcorn. When possible, the chef prepared a warm lunch halfway. In the evening, dinner started with soup, and always fruit as dessert. Whereas I could overcome the 'toilets' at the campsites, looking back: my friend would have paid an additional fee to have a portable toilet along. After the climb, we were dropped off at our hotel to get a hot shower and rest for a bit. The next morning we were picked up by Gabrielli for our next adventure: a 3-day safari in Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and lake Manyara. Gabrielli was very relaxed, knowledgeable and respectful towards the animals. Especially his attitude towards the animals: 'We'll just wait here for a bit and they will come to us: you'll see', made him a really good guide, since in our opinion other safari vans could be very intrusive towards the wildlife. All in all, our experience was really good and we would totally recommend Kisambi to anyone planning to go to Tanzania.
