Our Tremisana Lodge Safari offers an impressive itinerary within the Greater Kruger National Park. While it doesn't include the Sabi Sands experience, it's one of our best packages, offering great value. It is located in Balule Private Nature Reserve and spans 23,000 square kilometers of pristine bushveld along the Olifants River. The unfenced reserve allows wildlife to roam freely between Balule and Kruger National Park, less than an hour's drive from Kruger Park.

Day 1
Cape Town to Tremisana Lodge
Guests can fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport from Cape Town. We will also meet you at Eastgate to transport you to Tremisana Lodge in Kruger National Park. Settle into your chalet and relax until it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve. Enjoy a starlit dinner at Marula Tree Boma, deep in the bushveld. Day 2
Kruger National Park
Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks before setting off to a remote corner of Balule Game Reserve for a 4-hour guided bush walk along the Olifants River with an armed safari guide. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a real bushveld experience while keeping a keen eye on the thick bush for the Big Five and an abundance of antelope, predators and indigenous birds. Return to Tremisana Game Lodge for a late breakfast and refreshments. Relax at the lodge until it’s time to depart for the late afternoon game drive. Kruger National Park
Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks, and then it’s time to depart for a full-day safari tour in the Kruger National Park. We enter via Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper south and central region. We have a lunch break at a popular Kruger Park rest camp (at your own cost). Wake up early and join your guide for your last game drive in Balule Game Reserve. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing mid-morning for the return journey to Johannesburg, travelling via the famous Panorama Route. Arrive in Johannesburg at approximately 17h00. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
