Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Begin your day with an early morning pick-up from your lodge and set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, carrying packed lunch boxes for the day. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and varied landscapes, from seasonal swamps to open savannah, all centered around the winding Tarangire River. During your game drive, you might spot a lion stalking its prey or a leopard resting in the treetops. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay. Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart Karatu for a full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, with packed lunch boxes for the journey. The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera, is one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. It shelters around 30,000 large mammals year-round, including lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, and rhinos, alongside diverse bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Get ready to witness an extraordinary concentration of wildlife in a remarkably short time. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, often seen resting in the branches, and large troops of baboons that roam the forest and line the scenic park roads, offering a unique and memorable wildlife experience from the moment you arrive.
