Overview
Zambia has options that do not charge single supplements and we have chosen this authentic safari just for you. There is no single supplement on the accommodation. Southern Kafue is from the top of Lake Itezhi right down to the entrance gate at Dundumwezi. This safari can start in Lusaka or Livingstone and is a great way to see the park with no flights needed. In low season when Plains camp is closed we will use Lake camp only.

Livingstone, Victoria Falls, Zambia
We will set off from Livingstone for Southern Kafue National Park to Nanzhila plains camp. Fully inclusive; Accommodation; All meals; All local drinks; Tea & coffee; Twice daily scheduled safari activities; all road transfers & laundry Excludes - Park fees & levies ($50 pppn); Gratuities Nanzhila Plains Camp is an intimate owner-managed lodge situated on the edge of the dambo in the southern section of Kafue National Park. It has 2 en-suite safari tents and 3 en-suite chalets all of which have beautiful views of the dambo and the gauzed windows allowing all the wonderful sounds of the African night to reach you! Southern Kafue National Park
Today we will enjoy our first days in the Plains. Day 3
Nanzhila Lake Camp
Activities include game drives, bush walks, visits to the waterholes, and sundowners. At least 12 different species of antelope —Nanzhila Plains offers an excellent chance of sighting at least 12 different species within the area including sable, roan, defassa waterbuck, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest, kudu, eland, wildebeest, common reedbuck, oribi, impala and duiker to name a few. You'll see 4 out of the Big Five —Nanzhila Plains provides visitors the opportunity to see the Big 5 including lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo (more specifically around Lake Itezhi-Tezhi). You also stand a chance of sighting other special wildlife species such as cheetahs, wild dogs, hyenas, zebras, and warthogs. In addition to offering near-guaranteed sightings of the black-cheeked love bird, Nanzhila Plains is home to world-class birding. Wattled crane, racket-tailed rollers, and Pel’s fishing owl. Nanzhila Lake Camp
After breakfast, you'll have a game drive to Lake Camp. Activities include game drives, bush walks, visits to the waterholes, and sundowners. Today we depart for road trip to Lusaka after breakfast as we continue our journey through Kafue National Park. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Non-alcoholic drinks

After having a very disorganized experience in Tanzania via another tour operator, we were happy that our accommodation/reservations looked as pictured and were on the dates we had asked for. The guide and wait staff were great. My food request for not eating fish was upheld and luckily there was only one snack that had mayonnaise, so I could eat almost all the food. The view of the Luangwa River at Thornicroft was amazing. We saw leopards, lions, and several other types of wildlife.
