Arrival & Sunset Safari
You'll start your adventure the moment you arrive at Arathusa Safari Lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park. Transport (shuttle, private transfer, or flights) can be arranged from JHB at an additional fee. Upon arrival, you'll check into your luxurious suite, freshen up, and relax at the lodge. In the late afternoon, you'll depart on a game drive in the reserve, hoping to spot the Big Five. You'll enjoy dinner under the stars in the boma, listening to the sounds of the African bush. **Private road transfers from Johannesburg from R7 500 per way. Morning & Sunset Safari
You'll wake up early each morning for a sunrise game drive, hoping to catch a glimpse of the animals as they wake up. You'll return to the lodge for a leisurely brunch. You'll spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool, exploring the lodge, or going on a bush walk. In the afternoon, you'll depart on an afternoon game drive, hoping to see even more animals. You'll enjoy dinner under the stars in the boma, this time telling stories and laughing around the campfire. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
