Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for your overnight stay on a half-board basis. Arusha is a city in East Africa's Tanzania, located at the base of the volcanic Mt. Meru. It's a gateway to safari destinations and to Africa's highest peak, 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro, lying some 100 kilometers northeast. To the west lies Serengeti National Park, home to wildlife including lions, rhinos, giraffes, and leopards. You will agree with your guide on what time you will depart for your next adventure. Mid-range lodge located in Arusha (City) Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
At the agreed time after breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by your safari guide and driven to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 3-hour drive. Enjoy the wildlife! Tarangire National Park is almost 3000 sq km in size and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River, which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June - November) as wildlife concentrations rival those of the Serengeti. This is because enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water. With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species. Mid-range lodge located 1-2hr drive from Tarangire NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
The excitement for today will be quite high as you make your way into the most celebrated wildlife park in the world — The Serengeti. After finishing up a good breakfast, you will head out towards the Serengeti National Park and travel in the midst of the never-ending plain grasslands. Serengeti means endless plains in the local African language, and watching the grassland stretch out as far as the eye can see and eventually merging with the sky at the horizon is an absolutely breathtaking view. With an overall land area of 14,763 Sq km. The Serengeti also hosts the glorious Big Five (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard). Along with the Big Five, a very pleasant sighting would be one of Africa’s most beautiful animals — the impala. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. Luxury tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
After a wonderful breakfast, you will depart on a morning game drive with a hot lunch. You will explore the central/Northern portion of the Serengeti National Park today. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti — known as the Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well-representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. During the off-season of the migration, one must really look out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion prides provide an excellent game viewing experience all year round. The day will come to a close by around 5 PM. The long day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation. Luxury tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
Today will be the "Central Serengeti game viewing day". After breakfast this morning, you will enjoy an amazing game drive en route to central Serengeti. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is evident here—look for buffalo, hippopotamus, elephants, giraffes, antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, and lions. In the late afternoon, you'll venture out on another game drive. Everywhere there are animals, monkeys, and, yes, birds, but look closely, and you will be thrilled to see the huge jungle cats—lion, leopard, and cheetah—watching the world go by. And go by it does. Rhino, gazelle, antelope, and massive elephants by the hundreds. Animals in the trees, flying, camouflaged in the bush, in rivers, and in streams. This is the adventure of a lifetime. Luxury tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
After an early morning breakfast, you will hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as it is the best time to spot animals. On this day, we will enjoy a game drive around the crater and stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake within the park. The lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds, so you will be sure to enjoy the visit! Due to the animal “oasis” created within the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting every member of the Big Five. The group comprises some of the strongest animals in Africa –the ferocious lion, the giant elephant, the stealthy leopard, the charging rhino, and the mighty water buffalo. Ngorongoro Crater is truly an amazing place. Beautiful storks, ibis, and cranes are popular water birds in the crater, a sight not to miss. After a lovely afternoon of animal sightings, we will finally start your journey to Karatu, where your accommodation is located. Mid-range lodge located 1-2hr drive from Ngorongoro Crater All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 7
After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Lake Manyara for your full-day game drive Lake Manyara opens up into woodland, grassland, swamps, and the soda lake itself, where over 350 species of birds, including the lively flamingo, pelican, sacred ibis, grebe, and stork, can be viewed. At the southern end of the park are hot sulphur springs called Maji Moto. Manyara is noted for its numerous buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, as well as a great variety of smaller animals, and the very elusive tree-climbing lions. You will drive back to Arusha after an extensive game drive. You will also have enough time for shopping for gratuities. There are a lot of shops for coffee and Tanzanite gems that you can purchase as a gift for your family members back home. End of tour. All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
