Day 1
Entebbe - Murchson Falls National Park
Leave early in the morning for Murchison Falls National Park after breakfast, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino trekking. Here, you will have the opportunity to get close to the rhinos on foot during a guided walk. Afterwards, continue to Masindi for lunch and a chance to taste local food. Later, drive to the park to visit the top of the falls, then enjoy an evening game drive or check in at your hotel for the night. Day 2
Murchison Falls National Park
To get a glimpse of the big cats, we will leave very early with our packed breakfast for a morning game drive. Here, we expect to encounter wildlife such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. We will have breakfast at the Hippo Pool, where we can see schools of hippos and fishermen along the Nile. Afterwards, return for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Day 3
Murchison Falls National Park - Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will drive west through Hoima, Kagadi, Kyenjojo, and Fort Portal to Kibale. Along the way, you will pass through towns, tea plantations, and local roadside markets. Have lunch at the hotel, then go for a swamp walk and community tour in Bigodi. Kibale National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a briefing by the head guide. You will then be grouped and set out for trekking with professional guides and rangers. After the trek, drive through the crater lakes and banana plantations, enjoying great views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Later you will check in at your accommodations and head out for an evening game drive. Queen Elizabeth National Park - Ishasha Sector
After breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive and visit the salt lakes and craft markets. Afterwards, you will visit Katunguru Fishing Village, where you will take a mid-morning boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. During the cruise, you will see hippos, elephants, and other wildlife along the shores. After the boat ride, transfer to the Ishasha sector. Ishasha Sector - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Enjoy a morning game drive in the Ishasha sector, then transfer to Bwindi, home to the highlight of your tour: gorilla trekking in the Impenetrable Forest. In the afternoon, if time allows, visit the Batwa community to learn about their culture. Prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the jungle the following day. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Volcanoes National Park
On this special morning, after breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then be divided into small groups and assigned a specific gorilla family to trek. A ranger guide and armed escorts will accompany your group throughout the trek. After the trek, transfer to the Volcanoes region for the next part of your journey. We had amazing experience with Francis. He is joyful, conversant with facts. He drives perfectly. He picked us from Kigali and dropped us at Entebbe. He knows game drive roads and we were able to see big 5. Lions, Rhinos, Leopards, Buffaloes and Elephants. That to more than once. Because of him, we had easiest Gorilla trek, as he put us with easy trek. Both at Rwanda as well as in Uganda. Francis knows the internal roads. He never missed an important sight seeing place. My wife and I had so much fun with him.
