• After breakfast, you'll drive south through the fertile lands of the Great Rift Valley, passing towns like Ziway and Shashamane. • You'll reach Dinsho, the park HQ of Bale Mountains National Park. You'll go on a gentle hike to spot endemic species such as the Mountain Nyala, Menelik's Bushbuck, and Bohor Reedbuck. Overnight stay: Goba Wabe Shebelle Hotel. • You'll have an early morning drive to the Sanetti Plateau (over 4,000m), one of Africa's highest roads. Keep your eyes open for the rare and endangered Ethiopian Wolf, the world’s rarest canid. • You'll continue to Harenna Forest, a lush and misty forest known for its biodiversity, including giant forest hogs, colobus monkeys, and rare birds.
