Day 1
• Morning: You'll arrive in Addis Ababa. You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. • Afternoon: You'll begin your exploration with a guided tour of the National Museum, home to the famous fossil "Lucy". Continue to Entoto Hills for panoramic views of the capital. • Evening: You'll stroll through Merkato, the largest open-air market in Africa. You'll enjoy a traditional Ethiopian dinner with live music and dancing at a cultural restaurant. Overnight stay: Addis Ababa. Day 2
• After breakfast, you'll drive south through the fertile lands of the Great Rift Valley, passing towns like Ziway and Shashamane. • You'll reach Dinsho, the park HQ of Bale Mountains National Park. You'll go on a gentle hike to spot endemic species such as the Mountain Nyala, Menelik's Bushbuck, and Bohor Reedbuck. Overnight stay: Goba Wabe Shebelle Hotel. Day 3
• You'll have an early morning drive to the Sanetti Plateau (over 4,000m), one of Africa's highest roads. Keep your eyes open for the rare and endangered Ethiopian Wolf, the world’s rarest canid. • You'll continue to Harenna Forest, a lush and misty forest known for its biodiversity, including giant forest hogs, colobus monkeys, and rare birds. Optional: Short hike to bamboo groves or visit a traditional Oromo village. Overnight stay will be at Goba Wabe Shebelle Hotel. Day 4
• You'll depart early and head south through Goba, Dilla, and Sodo, passing stunning landscapes, coffee farms, and highland villages. • You'll arrive in Arba Minch, located between Lake Abaya and Lake Chamo, with views of the Bridge of God. Evening: You'll relax at your lodge overlooking the lakes. Overnight stay: Arbaminch Tourist Hotel. Day 5
• In the morning, you'll visit the Dorze people, famous for their beehive-shaped houses, cotton weaving, and traditional food. • You'll continue to the Konso region (UNESCO World Heritage Site), known for its stone terracing, unique clan-based social structure, and waka totems. • You'll visit the Konso cultural museum and enjoy a walk through the terraced hills. Day 6
• You'll travel deeper into the Omo Valley, one of Africa’s most culturally diverse regions. • You'll stop at Key Afer (Thursday) or Alduba (Tuesday) market to witness vibrant people gatherings with Ari, Benna, Tsemay, and Hammer people. • You'll arrive in Jinka, the administrative center of South Omo. Optional: You'll visit the South Omo Research Center or the local Ari village. Overnight stay: Emerald Lodge. Day 7
