Day 1
Today we depart by road for Tsavo West National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch and an optional afternoon or evening game drive. Tsavo West is the most visited section in the Tsavo National Park, offering many attractions apart from its wildlife. The foremost is the famous Mzima Springs, where up to 227.3 million liters of cool, crystal-clear water flows out of the ground through porous volcanic rocks. The water is believed to originate from Chyulu Hills via an underground river. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Day 2
After breakfast, depart from Tsavo West to Tsavo East arriving at lunch time. After your lunch and short rest, you will embark on your afternoon drive in the park. Tsavo East is known for its impressive Elephants and the legend of the Man-eaters of Tsavo. The Galana River passes through the park and this provides life giving waters in the region. It is home to some of the largest Elephant herds in Kenya. Some major attractions here are; the huge herds of Elephants covered in red dust from wallowing and dust bathing, the Mudanda Rock which is a rock towers above a natural dam which draws many Elephants to slake their thirst every day and the Lugards Falls which occurs on the Galana River, passing over some interestingly shaped rocks. One of the Park's most recognisable features is the Yatta Plateau which is the longest lava flow in the World, stretching for over 300km (185 miles). Day 3
We will get an early morning start and drive to Amboseli National Park. You will go on an afternoon game drive after checking in at your accommodation and eating lunch. Amboseli National Park is situated south of Nairobi. Most of the park consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland. However, in the southern area, there are several small, rocky, volcanic hills. Around the Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai, and Enkongo Narok swamps, the vegetation is lush with yellow-barked acacias and phoenix palms. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Day 4
Rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is the best wildlife area in Africa to experience elephants at close range. Elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps form the highlights of any safari! We can plan an optional visit to a Maasai village after breakfast. You will see the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Luxury lodge located inside Amboseli NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
In the early morning, you will drive to Lake Naivasha, the highest and the most beautiful Rift Valley lake. Located at 1910m (6200ft), the water is fresh and fringed with dense clumps of papyrus (ancient Egyptians once used this to make paper). Kingfishers use the papyrus as a perch, and herons hide in it while searching for food. Lake Naivasha is another area famous for bird watching (over 400 species have been recorded). It is also a favourite weekend retreat for Nairobi residents, who come here to sail, water ski, and fish. There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them (due to the altitude), but there are several hippos. Along the lakeshore, vineyards produce grapes for the country's fledgling wine industry. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the resort. Day 6
Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Great Rift Valley and the famous Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is known worldwide for its flamboyance of flamingoes and its alkaline lake; it is also recognised as one of the world's natural wonders. It is also a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos. The flamingoes, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times, almost two million of them may be in residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. You will arrive here in time for lunch and then go on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Day 7
Today you will go on an early morning game drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve is one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed in the numbers that were once common across all the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and predators. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Luxury tented camp located inside Masai Mara NR All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 8
After breakfast, we have a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve—lunch will be a picnic. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions and abundant wildlife. This is one of the few places where it is possible to see the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under vehicles. Several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey! For bird enthusiasts, there are almost 500 species have been recorded here. Among these include 16 species of eagle, many hawks and falcons, six species of vultures, eight species of storks, four species of bustard (including the kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and nine species of sunbirds. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a campsite or lodge. We can plan an optional visit to a Masai village after breakfast. Alternatively, you can go on a hot air balloon ride. Luxury tented camp located inside Masai Mara NR All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 9
You will embark on a morning game drive after breakfast before departing for Nairobi for your flight back home. You will have lunch en route. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

5.0/5I have nothing but good things to say about Charles and Phillip. The entire trip, we were never in the dark about what to expect or what came next. The Masai Mara reserve is a beautiful sight to see and I was happy to make a bucket list accommplishment by finally seeing the savannah. I'm very happy with my decision to choose Salina Wild adventures and I happily recommend them!

We took a 6 day safari covering Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Amboseli national park. The tour was well planned by Charles and executed by Jared our guide. We managed to see all the big 5 both in Mara and Amboseli among other predators and grazers. We also saw hippo and crocodiles at Mara river. Jared knew the best routes to warrant sighting of of the wildlife. His sense of humour was amazing and he was always patient with us. Salina Wild Adventures did a commendable job. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my second wedding anniversary this year 2023 February with Salina Wild Adventures, managed by Charles, on a 7-day safari to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli. I must say that the tour was an unforgettable experience. The company's organization and planning were impeccable, and our driver Phillip was knowledgeable, charming and always punctual. The wildlife sightings were amazing, and the scenery was breathtaking. The lodges and camps provided by the company were also comfortable and well-equipped. I would highly recommend Salina Wild Adventures to anyone looking for an amazing safari experience in Kenya.
