Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
Travel in an air-conditioned tour vehicle from Johannesburg to a luxury safari lodge in Kapama Private Game Reserve. The drive is 5 to 6 hours, with refreshment stops along the way. The game reserve is located in a vast protected wilderness region adjacent to the Greater Kruger and Kruger National Park. Arrive at the lodge in time for a light lunch. Settle into your suite and relax until it’s time to depart late afternoon after high tea for a 3-hour sunset game drive in Kapama Game Reserve in an open safari vehicle. Morning & Sunset Safaris
We wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then set off for a 3-hour morning game drive in Kapama Game Reserve. The game drive is in an open safari vehicle with a professional game ranger. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and refreshments. Relax around the lodge, lounge at the pool, or treat yourself to a spa session at River Lodge Spa (at your own cost). Enjoy a light lunch on the outdoor deck. We depart late afternoon after high tea for a 3-hour sunset game drive in Kapama Game Reserve. Return to the lodge well after the sun has set. Dinner is served in the lodge restaurant or on the outdoor deck. We will overnight in a luxury suite at Kapama River Lodge. Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks, and then it’s time to depart for your last 3-hour game drive in Kapama Game Reserve. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Pack up and be ready to depart mid-morning for the return trip to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg, you are transferred to your accommodation close to O.R. Tambo International Airport. Arrival in Victoria Falls & Zambezi River Dinner Cruise
Wake up early for breakfast. We depart for O.R. Tambo International Airport to catch a scheduled flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival in Victoria Falls, you’re picked up and transferred to Victoria Falls Safari Club in an air-conditioned shuttle bus. Book in, freshen up and enjoy the hotel facilities before departing late afternoon for a 4-hour sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River. The boat cruise on the Zambezi River includes a 3-course dinner and a complimentary glass of champagne. A cash bar is available for other drinks. Return to your lodge at about 9 pm. Wake up early for a hearty breakfast, then depart at 8 am for a 2-hour guided tour of Victoria Falls. After your walk through nature, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure with various add-on activities (at your own cost). Known as the "Adrenalin Capital of Africa", options include bungee jumping, white-water rafting, or relaxing with a historic tour of the Victoria Falls Bridge and afternoon tea at Stanley’s Terrace. A shuttle bus will pick you up mid-morning and take you to Victoria Falls Airport for your scheduled flight to Cape Town. On arrival, you are transferred to your hotel in Cape Town. Full-Day Cape Peninsula Tour
You will have an early breakfast at the hotel restaurant and then depart for a full-day Cape Peninsula tour. You will take in the highlights of the cosmopolitan Cape Town City Bowl and the vibrant coastal towns of the Atlantic Seaboard. Then, you continue on a scenic drive to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve at the southernmost tip of the Peninsula. You can take a funicular ride or walk to the legendary Cape Point. Spend time exploring Simon’s Town, penguin watch at Boulders Beach (optional and at your own cost), and drive through the quaint seaside towns that hug False Bay. The day ends with a leisurely stroll through the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Half-Day Cape Winelands Tour
After an early breakfast at the hotel restaurant, we depart for a half-day Cape Winelands Tour on an incredibly scenic route to the historic town of Stellenbosch in the heart of Cape Winelands. After a short tour of Stellenbosch to show you historic landmarks and beautiful heritage buildings, we drive to the first of two premier wine estates. After a tour of the cellars, join a representative of the estate to sample their finest wines paired with delicious local cheese. We head to the second wine estate for the same delicious wine-tasting experience. You can buy your favourite vintage at the farm’s shop before leaving for the drive back to Cape Town. Dine in or eat at a popular restaurant in the area (at your own cost). You will overnight in a luxury room at the Commodore Hotel. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
