Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, Dune 45 – Travel to Swakopmund via Walvis Bay
🌄 Start early for sunrise inside Namib-Naukluft Park, when the dunes are at their most dramatic. Visit: ✔️ Dune 45, one of the most photographed dunes in Africa, ✔️ Followed by the surreal white clay pan of Deadvlei, where ancient camelthorn trees stand frozen in time against towering red dunes. ✔️ For the adventurous, climb Big Daddy Dune, one of the highest dunes in the world, offering panoramic views over the desert ✔️ Wildlife such as oryx, springbok, ostrich, and jackals may be seen in the desert plains. ✔️ After exploring Sesriem Canyon, travel west through dramatic desert passes toward the Atlantic coast. ✔️ Stop at Walvis Bay Lagoon, famous for large flocks of flamingos and coastal birdlife.
