In the evening, a full motorcycle safari briefing is conducted covering riding safety, route expectations, motorcycle handling, and nature-based activities included during the expedition. After breakfast, the motorcycle safari begins with a scenic ride from Kigali to Lake Muhazi. Riders journey through Rwanda’s rolling hills, coffee plantations, and remote countryside villages while enjoying beautiful winding roads perfect for adventure riding. Several stops are made for photography and short nature walks through local communities and lakeside surroundings. Upon arrival at Lake Muhazi, guests enjoy a relaxing afternoon with optional canoeing, birdwatching, or a guided lakeside nature walk. Today’s motorcycle journey takes riders toward Ruhengeri near Volcanoes National Park.
