You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Johannesburg to the Kruger National Park
Departing from the O.R Tambo Airport in Johannesburg by 07:00 am, you will travel east through the farmlands to the Kruger National Park. You will arrive at the Adventure Lodge located in Hazyview which is only a 15-minute drive away from the Phabeni Gate into the national park. There is time to check into your en-suite, air-conditioned accommodation (chalet or tent, dependent on availability when booking) and to freshen up. Proceed on your first open-vehicle safari drive in the Kruger National Park. This safari drive is for around 2 to 2 and a half hours. Return to the lodge at sunset in time for a beverage and dinner served at the lodge. Budget lodge located just outside Southern Kruger NP Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included) Drinks not included

Day 2
Guided safari drive and return to Johannesburg
You wake up early and depart on an (optional) sunrise safari drive in the open safari vehicle. Please note that this safari drive on the final day is an optional extra and can be booked and paid for directly at the lodge on arrival at R1,050.00 per person, subject to change. Alternatively, you can enjoy the morning at the lodge before departing from Hazyview at noon for your return transfer to Johannesburg. You will arrive at the O.R Tambo Airport in Johannesburg between 5 and 6 pm. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included

Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
