Be ready for an early morning breakfast and pickup from the hotel for an exciting Pilanesberg Safari. The picturesque drive to Pilanesberg National Park takes approximately 2.5 hours. Here, you will start with a captivating game drive in the park, which is home to the magnificent Big Five, along with a brimming diversity of wildlife and bountiful flora. You will enjoy lunch at one of the lovely lodges in the park. After some more game watching, you will return to the hotel in Sandton to refresh and go for dinner at a recommended local restaurant or the hotel. Soweto & Apartheid Museum Tour
You'll enjoy breakfast before you are picked up from the hotel for the Soweto and Apartheid Museum tour. You will be able to get to know more about the renowned South African township of Soweto. On Vilakazi Street, you will see the home of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. Lunch, which is included, is served at a local restaurant in Soweto, like Sakhumzi Restaurant or another one that is recommended. After lunch, visiting the Apartheid Museum, you will be fascinated by the rich diversity of South Africa’s inhabitants, as well as the dramatic rise and fall of apartheid and the history of the country. Back at the hotel, collect your luggage before departing via private transfer to O.R. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
