Day 1
Nairobi - Samburu National Park
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel at 07:00 hrs and drive north to Samburu National Reserve, arriving around 13:00 hrs in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the park, which is famous for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the “Special Five,“ and a variety of big game including elephants and lions. Samburu National Park
Spend a full day in Samburu with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Samburu is a beautiful, game-rich park, home to rare species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe. Optional activities include visiting a local Samburu village, camel riding, and guided nature and bird walks. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
