Day 1
Nairobi-Meru National Park
Your tour will start in the morning when our tour driver-guide picks you up from your hotel, place of residence, or from the airport. You can stop and commemorate the equator's crossing as you travel north since your journey started in the southern hemisphere. You'll take some photos. You'll reach Meru and check into your lodge in time for lunch. There will be time for you to unwind in your accommodation. You will take your first game drive around the park in the afternoon, giving you your first opportunity to observe the amazing animals that call the area home. The spectacular sight of the sunset over the plains is the ideal way to end your first day of safari. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in your camp. Day 2
Explore Meru National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you'll immediately head out onto the plains to begin your full day of discovering the park and its plethora of natural beauty. Being outside in the park early morning is an excellent idea since the animals are bursting with activity as the day begins, and the radiance of the sun creates ideal photographic conditions. After lunch, you can take a brief rest and have your lunch before returning to the park for an afternoon game drive in search of animals, including the Big Five of the African safari, as well as a variety of birds. After a long day of exploring the park, which is both rewarding and exhausting, you can take a rest in your lodge and overnight. Day 3
Meru National Park/Nairobi
Have your bush breakfast and after embark on your journey south towards Nairobi. You can stop at the crossing of the equator once again, and lunch will be provided en route. Upon your arrival in Nairobi, your driver will be able to take you to your hotel, residence, or the airport, depending on your onward plans. This will mark the final day of your safari adventure. We didn't know what we wanted so we requested Lilac Roller Safaris to recommend an itinerary. Josephine was fantastic, her communication was quick and she ensured that our accomodation was to the standards we wanted. We went to Tanzania and did the Ngorogoro Crater and also the Serengeti which was absolutely amazing.
