Day 1
You will depart by road for Tsavo East National Park, the largest national park in Kenya and a renowned wildlife destination. The journey offers scenic views as you head toward this vast and untamed landscape. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East is known for its wide open plains, making it easier to spot wildlife compared to more densely vegetated parks. The Galana River flows through the park, attracting a variety of animals such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes. The park is also famous for its red-dust elephants and impressive predator sightings. As you explore, you will have the chance to enjoy uninterrupted views and diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, relaxing after a rewarding day in the wild. Day 2
Your day begins with an early morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park, when wildlife is most active and the plains come alive with activity. You may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species in the open landscape, which allows for excellent visibility and photography. After the drive, you will enjoy a picnic lunch as you travel to Tsavo West National Park, experiencing the changing scenery along the way. Tsavo West is known for its dramatic landscapes, including rolling hills and volcanic features. A highlight of the park is the famous Mzima Springs, where clear water flows from underground sources, attracting hippos and crocodiles. In the evening, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful wilderness of Tsavo West. Day 3
You will begin your day with an early morning departure and drive towards Amboseli National Park, located in southern Kenya. Upon arrival, you will check in at your accommodation and enjoy some leisure time to relax and settle in as you prepare for the safari experience ahead. Amboseli is renowned for its stunning scenery and rich wildlife. The park is largely made up of a dry ancient lake bed and open grasslands, interspersed with patches of acacia woodland. In the southern region, you will also find small volcanic hills that add to the park’s unique landscape. Around the swamp areas such as Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai, and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation becomes lush and green, featuring yellow-barked acacias and graceful palm trees that attract a wide variety of animals. The park is especially famous for its large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Day 4
Your final day in Amboseli National Park begins with an early morning game drive from Sentrim Amboseli Lodge, taking advantage of the cool hours when wildlife is most active. As the sun rises, you may witness elephants moving gracefully across the plains with the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, creating one of the most iconic safari scenes in Africa. Lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species can also be spotted as the park slowly comes to life. After the game drive, you will return to Sentrim Amboseli Lodge for a relaxed breakfast and some time to freshen up. Depending on your departure schedule, you may enjoy a short rest or a final stroll within the lodge surroundings, taking in the last moments of the Amboseli wilderness. A Wonderful Masai Mara Safari Experience We had an amazing safari experience, made even better by our guide, Francis. His skill and knowledge allowed us to get incredibly close to wildlife, giving us unforgettable moments. In just one day, we saw an impressive variety of animals including lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and even a leopard resting in a tree. Of course, we also spotted giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and hyenas. Every moment of the trip was exciting and memorable. Francis was not only highly experienced but also very friendly, making the entire journey enjoyable and comfortable. We truly had a fantastic time and would gladly go on another safari with this team again. A big thank you to Lensai Safaris for such a wonderful experience!
