Day 1
Kigali - Nyungwe National Park
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, our professional guide will be waiting to welcome you. You will then be driven approximately 180 km (about four hours) to your reserved lodge, located closer to our main destination. Day 2
Chimpanzee trekking
We will wake up early in the morning to leave the lodge at 4:00 am and drive for about one hour to reach the Uwinka Reception. The park guide will begin with a briefing before starting the chimpanzee tracking activity. This experience typically takes between 3-7 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees, as they are constantly moving in search of food. Day 3
Canopy walk, Zipline and Rope course experience
We will wake up early in the morning to leave the hotel at 6:00 a.m and drive for about 30 minutes to reach the Gisakura Reception. The park guide will then take you on a hike to the Kamiranzovu Waterfalls, an activity that takes approximately 4-5 hours. In the afternoon, you will experience 3 adventure activities which are canopy walk, Zipline and Rope course experiences. Friendly and knowledgeable
I took a private tour with David and his team around Burundi and Tanzania. I spent most of my time in Bujumbura where David took care of all the accommodation and transportation. Whatever I needed he was able to arrange. We took a tour around Burundi off the beaten paths, visiting Kigwena Forest, Nyanza, Agasumo ka Mwaro waterfall, Karera Waterfall, Gitega, and many local sights. Very immersive tour. In Tanzania we visited Gombe national, had a great chimpanzee hike and amazing boat ride in between.
