Full-Day Kruger National Park Game Drive
You'll wake up early and depart before sunrise with your guide in an open safari vehicle for a full day of game drives inside Kruger National Park. Both breakfast and lunch are enjoyed inside the park, allowing for uninterrupted wildlife viewing across a range of habitats throughout the day. Morning and afternoon drives maximize opportunities to see the Big Five and other plains game, as well as birdlife. You'll return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3
Full-Day Panorama Route Excursion
After breakfast at the lodge, you will set out for a full day exploring the world-famous Panorama Route in Mpumalanga. Travel through breathtaking landscapes and stop at iconic viewpoints such as God’s Window, offering panoramic vistas of the Lowveld, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, where centuries of water erosion have sculpted dramatic rock formations, and the Three Rondavels, striking cliff faces resembling traditional homesteads. You will also visit the Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest canyons in the world, with opportunities for short walks to scenic viewpoints and photo stops. Along the route, your guide will provide insights into the region’s geology, flora, fauna, and cultural history, making it both a scenic and educational experience. You'll return to Makuwa Safari Lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay. Makuwa Safari Lodge is a bushveld retreat located in the Greater Kruger area on a private game reserve near Orpen Gate of Kruger National Park. The bush bustles with buffalo, plains game and bird activity. Idyllic accommodation in whitewashed houses with thatched roofs and broad patios offers sweeping views of the wilderness and the distant Drakensberg Mountains. Manicured lawns dotted with acacia, marula and fig trees surround the lodge, while all around the property untouched bushveld provide.
