You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Nairobi - Chogoria Gate
You'll be picked up from the airport or the hotel to the office for a briefing. Later, you'll proceed to Mt Kenya through the central part of Kenya where you will have a stopover at Chogoria for lunch and to check mountain gear. After lunch, you will proceed to the gate where you will trek for 9 kilometers through the thick bamboo forest you will be able to do sightseeing of monkeys, buffalos, elephants baboons, and other wildlife. You will arrive at the Meru bandas at 1700 where you will be served hot coffee and you can walk around the bandas and enjoy a campfire dinner and an overnight stay at bandas. Day 2
Meru Bandas - Lake Ellis
After breakfast, the guide and porter will assemble your camping gear and your bags to start your trek for 8 hours. You will pass through health and moorland vegetation. You will be having water breaks and lunch at Nithi Falls. Later, you'll proceed to ascend to Lake Ellis. You will spend the night at the shores of the lake if your photographer and birdwatchers are to view them at the lake. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Ellis. Day 3
Lake Ellis -Lake Mintos
This day, you will take to a height of 4200 meters whereby you walk through bare land with no vegetation only rocks and glacier river water. You will be talking with a water break and lunch on the way. Later, you'll arrive at Minto's Hut a 5 pm where you will have rest and wait for dinner. All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 4
Lake Mintos - Old Moses
You'll wake up very early at 2:00 am and start early. You'll have breakfast then proceed to the summit where you are supposed to arrive before sunrise at 5:00 am at Point Lenana at a height of 4985m. On the peak, you will be able to view Mt Kilimanjaro peaks and Mt Meru. Also three peaks of Mt Kenya Batia. After Point Lenana, you'll descend to Shipton Camp where you will have your breakfast. Later, you'll start the descent to Old Moses through Mackinders Valley. You'll arrive at Old Moses at 4:00 pm for dinner. All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 5
Old Moses- Nairobi
After breakfast, you'll descend on a broad track through bamboo and virgin rainforest to meet a vehicle for your transfer to Nanyuki town and further to Nairobi arriving by 5:00 pm. (Halfway walk and halfway you can opt to use a 4x4 the other half and this can be at an extra cost. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
