Arrival & Blue Canyon Reserve Sunset Safari
Catch a morning flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit Airport (included at a fixed rate, subject to change when booking). Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Ivory Moon Lodge to check into your luxury accommodation. Lunch will be served at 13:30. At 15:00, go on a 3-hour sunset drive through the Blue Canyon Reserve, complete with sundowners and snacks. Return to Ivory Moon Lodge between 19:00 and 19:30 for dinner. 05:00 – Set out for a full-day safari in Kruger National Park’s Orpen–Satara region, famous for its abundant lion population and frequent Big 5 encounters. Bottled water and a packed breakfast are provided. Afternoon – Return to Ivory Moon Lodge to relax and enjoy dinner. 8:30 AM– You'll depart for a full-day Panorama Route Tour and discover the Drakensberg escarpment, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window, and more. You can opt to swap for a full-day Kruger safari at no extra cost (advance notice required). 4:30 PM– You'll return to the lodge to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner. Afterward, you'll enjoy a 1-hour night drive in the lovely Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Included: Breakfast and dinner. 5:00 AM- You'll wake early for a full-day safari into the Kruger National Park’s Satara-Orpen region. You'll depart early with a packed bush breakfast or depart later after breakfast at the lodge. Bottled water is provided. 5:30 PM- You'll return to the camp with time to relax before dinner by the fire. Included: Breakfast and dinner. Final Bushwalk & Return to Johannesburg
06:00 – Begin your final morning with a 1.5-hour guided bushwalk in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, exploring the bush on foot alongside experienced guides. 07:30 – Return to the lodge for a final breakfast on the viewing deck, surrounded by the tranquil sights and sounds of nature. 10:30 – Check out and transfer to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, arriving between 17:00 and 18:00. Optional: – Flights back to Cape Town can be arranged at an additional cost (advance booking required). – Replace the bushwalk with a 3-hour sunrise safari in a Big 5 private reserve (additional cost, advance booking required).
