Day 1
Tsavo East National Park
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Diani Beach or Mombasa. You'll travel inland through scenic countryside towards Tsavo East National Park, renowned for its vast open plains, red elephants, and abundant wildlife. Upon entering the park, you will enjoy your first game drive en route to your lodge or camp, with chances to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife. After lunch and some time to relax, you will head out for an afternoon game drive, exploring the park’s iconic landscapes before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tsavo East – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Tsavo East and journey towards Amboseli National Park, passing through changing landscapes and rural communities. You'll arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive across the park’s open plains. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. As the clouds lift, you will enjoy spectacular photo opportunities with wildlife roaming against the mountain backdrop. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge or camp in Amboseli. Day 3
Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
You'll start the day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli, when wildlife is most active, and Mount Kilimanjaro is often at its clearest. After breakfast, you will depart for Tsavo West National Park, known for its dramatic scenery, volcanic hills, and lush springs. You'll visit highlights such as Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters attract hippos and crocodiles, and enjoy game drives in search of elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and diverse bird species. After breakfast, you'll enjoy a final game drive in Tsavo West before heading to the nearby Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. This private sanctuary offers a more intimate safari experience, with excellent wildlife viewing in a compact area. You'll enjoy lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. As night falls, you will experience a unique night game drive, offering the rare opportunity to spot nocturnal wildlife such as bush babies, genets, and, with luck, leopards. Great service when booking and excellent driver guide
Dominic was extremely responsive to all of my many (many!) questions . We booked quite late and he was very flexible. Our driver/guide Chris was very experienced and a very good driver and guide. We did a trip from Nairobi to Amboseli and Tsavo West. Despite lots of rain for the first 2 days Chris did his absolute utmost to make up for this. We saw very large amounts of game. I would happily book through Kenyan again

Great Safari Experience from Nairobi to Diani
We did a customized 5-day safari with Kentau Safaris, starting in Nairobi and traveling through Amboseli, Taita Hills, and Tsavo, with Diani as the final destination. We can absolutely recommend this tour. Communication in advance was smooth and reliable from the very beginning. Everything worked perfectly from the pick-up in Nairobi onward. Our guide, Moddy, was very relaxed and reliable. We felt comfortable and well taken care of at all times, and it was clear that he truly did everything he could to give us the best possible safari experience. The service during the trip was excellent as well – there was always plenty of drinking water provided. We also really enjoyed the route and the daily schedule: a morning game drive, transfer to the next accommodation, a pleasant lunch break, and another game drive in the afternoon. We could always discuss and flexibly adjust the daily plan with Moddy. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari – it was full of highlights, wonderful experiences, and a high level of comfort.
