Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Dar es Salaam (approx. 4–5 hours) to Mikumi National Park, where a wealth of wildlife awaits. Upon arrival, you'll dive straight into a half-day game drive across Mikumi’s wide-open plains. Watch elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and lions roam freely in their natural habitat. Then, you will end the day with a relaxing evening at your lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush. You'll start your day with an early morning game drive in Mikumi, where you'll have another chance to observe the park’s incredible wildlife before the heat of the day sets in. Afterward, you'll begin your scenic drive to Ruaha National Park (approx. 4–5 hours), passing through local villages and stunning landscapes. Upon arrival at your lodge, you'll unwind and enjoy the evening in the peaceful atmosphere of Ruaha, one of Tanzania’s most remote and pristine parks. You'll embark on a full-day game drive in Ruaha National Park, a hidden gem known for its diverse wildlife and rugged beauty. You'll explore vast savannahs, riverine forests, and rolling hills while tracking elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and abundant birdlife. You'll take a packed lunch in the bush, and continue your safari adventure until the evening. Ruaha’s untouched wilderness offers some of the best wildlife encounters in Tanzania, making this day a true highlight. After breakfast, you'll drive to Iringa, the gateway town to Ruaha, where you'll enjoy a shortened city and cultural tour. You'll explore local markets, visit the historical Iringa Boma, and interact with local artisans. You will learn about the region’s rich history and culture before continuing your journey toward Morogoro Town (approx. 3–4 hours’ drive). You'll enjoy a relaxing overnight stay in Morogoro, a charming town nestled between lush hills and fertile farmlands. They are professionals！
We asked the tour details to them before we go, and they arranged it to suit the tour contents, our budget, and what we wanted to experience. In the end, the experience was fulfilling, we were able to see many animals, and our guide and driver Charles was very knowledgeable about animals, so we learned a lot. As for the wildebeest migration, it was up to luck whether we could see it, but we were able to see an endless herd of wildebeest! Visiting the Hadzabe village was also a very valuable experience. At Tukaone camp where we stayed, the staff were very kind, the food was amazing, and the tents had comfortable beds and sofas. When we woke up in the morning, we could see the beautiful sunrise and buffalo and hippos from our tent. I will never forget the experience I had here.
