Day 1
You will be collected between 08:00 and 08:30, as our journey takes us to the northern part of Namibia. A long drive to the Etosha National Park this morning will see us passing some farmland and making a few short stops in towns of Okahandja, Otjiwarongo and Outjo along the way, as we aim to arrive at the Etosha National Park at shortly after noon, just in time for a lunch. We will depart for our first game drive in an attempt to spot all of our favourite animals! At sunset you will have time to indulge in a sundowner drink while enjoying the view of the African sun disappear over the horizon. Day 2
Today you will get better acquainted with the routes around the southwestern and eastern end of the Etosha National park, as you make your way from the Okaukuejo area all the way to the greater surrounding area in the park and back in an open-aired game viewing/safari vehicle. Etosha National Park is home to four of the Big 5. Elephants and lions are commonly seen in the park, while the elusive leopard hides in the densely vegetated areas. However, one of the best reasons to visit Etosha is its healthy population of black rhinoceros. This archaic beast is endangered and the waterholes are probably among the best places in the world to see this precious animal. The plains are covered by large herds of springbok and zebra. The backdrop of the vast Etosha Pan makes game viewing in Etosha a unique experience. It will not be until late in the afternoon when we return to our accommodation. Day 3
We set off very early with a rather lengthy drive to the cosy town of Swakopmund on the mighty Atlantic Ocean. On this drive, we will pass the famous Brandberg mountain ranges. On 4 of August 1892 the crew of gunboat called ''Hyena'' erected two beacons to mark the landing site which symbolized the laying of the foundation stone of Swakopmund. Swakopmund offers a unique blend of natural beauty and German charm. This coastal city is a haven for adventure seekers and those looking to unwind by the sea. With its palm-lined streets, seaside promenades, and historic buildings, Swakopmund effortlessly combines old-world elegance with modern amenities. We will arrive in the late hours of the afternoon, and will have a bit of time to explore the town before dinner this evening, which will be at a fine seafood restaurant overlooking the ocean. Day 4
We start our journey with a drive south-west to the Namib Naukluft Park, one of the most scenic landscapes in Namibia. In 1966 "Game Reserve No. 3" was de-proclaimed, and the Namib Desert Park was established in its stead. The Namib Desert Park included a small area north of the Swakop River where the Welwitschia grow, as well as the Moon Landscape east of Swakopmund. In 1979 two more large areas were added. The Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park was included such that the Naukluft Mountains now formed part of the protected area. On route to the Sesriem area, we will pass Kuiseb and Gaub mountain passes, where will also have brief stops to take in more of Namibia’s beauty. Solitaire is a great stopover for a lunchtime snack and houses one of the most famous bakeries in the country, which is situated in the heart of the Namib Desert. We will arrive in the late afternoon at our lodge and enjoy a lovely dinner in the Namib Desert. Day 5
This morning we will head into the Sosusvlei National Park, as we depart quite early and drive into this great sand sea this morning. We embark on a short journey in discovering the famous Deadvlei and Sossusvlei areas, but before we get there, our stopover is dune 45 where our guests will have a chance to climb this 80m (263ft) high dune. We will walk amongst the great dunes and photograph this captivating landscape. We may also decide to climb one of the World’s highest climbable dunes, the ‘Big Daddy’ and enjoy a nature hike/walk around the area. After our dune excursion, we will visit the Sesriem canyon, another amazing geological feature in the area before returning to our accommodation for lunch and a free afternoon afterwards. Mid-range lodge located outside Sossusvlei (Sand Dunes) Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
Today we have reached the end of our journey and head back to the capital city Windhoek via a few small settlements in the southern part, and the town of Rehoboth. We stop in Klein-Aub for a unique coffee tasting experience around noon, before transiting to Windhoek, as we hope for a late afternoon arrival and you'll be dropped off at your hotel. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Good communication leading up to travel and the trip was certainly something that exceeded my expectations! The whole area is stunningly beautiful, and Scobie was a very knowledgeable guide and willing to answer all my questions throughout the journey (I had a lot). Lots of stops on the way to view wildlife and enjoy the landscapes. Climbing Big Daddy early in the morning was certainly a highlight and well worth it! Reuben is an excellent cook, and I was very happy with the camping experience.
