Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or JKIA. You’ll journey along the floor of the Great Rift Valley, making a photo stop at the viewpoint, before arriving at the Maasai Mara by lunchtime. Maasai Mara Full-Day Exploration
Activity: Full-Day Game Drive (with picnic lunch) Today is about immersing yourself in the Mara. With a packed lunch, you’ll spend the entire day traversing the savannah in search of the Big Five and, if season permits (July-October), witness the drama of the Mara River crossings during the Great Migration. Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha -
Activity: Scenic Drive & Boat Ride. After breakfast, we depart the Mara and drive towards the Rift Valley. We arrive at the freshwater Lake Naivasha in the afternoon. Here, you’ll embark on a shared boat ride, getting up close to hippos, fish eagles, and a myriad of waterbirds. The evening is spent at a budget lodge or campsite on the lake's edge. Day 4
Lake Naivasha to Amboseli
Activity: Private Drive, Afternoon & Evening Game Drive Your driver-guide meets you at your Naivasha hotel and departs for Amboseli (5–6 hours). Enjoy views of rolling savannahs and distant volcanic hills. Arrive at Nyati Safari Camp in time for lunch and a brief rest. In the afternoon, embark on a private game drive across Amboseli's vast plains. The park is famous for its large elephant herds against Mount Kilimanjaro. Search for lions, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, and giraffes. Drive towards seasonal Lake Amboseli to spot hippos and wading birds. As the sun sets, continue with the drive as you watch for nocturnal animals like hyenas, genets, civets, and possibly leopards. Return to camp for dinner and a relaxing evening. Activity: Full-Day Game Drives Amboseli is famous for its super tusker elephants and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. We’ll start with an early morning game drive to catch the sunrise over "Kili" (weather permitting). After breakfast at the camp, we head back into the park to explore the marshes and plains, observing buffalo, zebras, and waders.
