Day 1
After pick-up from your hotel or Kigali International Airport, depart Kigali for a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda. Enjoy rolling hills and countryside views along the way. Upon arrival, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village for an immersive cultural experience featuring traditional dances, local crafts, and insights into Rwanda’s heritage and conservation efforts. Later, transfer to your lodge near the park for relaxation and overnight. Day 2
After an early breakfast, head to Volcanoes National Park for an exciting golden monkey trekking experience in the bamboo forest. Enjoy close encounters with these playful and endangered primates. After the trek, drive toward Uganda, crossing at the Cyanika border. Continue through scenic landscapes to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, arriving at your lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 3
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your mountain gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Hike through dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family and spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge to relax, reflect on the experience, and enjoy dinner and overnight near the park. Day 4
After breakfast, depart Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park, driving through the scenic Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive en route as you search for wildlife across the open savannah. Continue to your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, with an evening game drive before dinner and overnight. Day 5
After an early breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu Forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Track these playful primates through the forest while learning about their behavior and habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, spotting hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of birdlife along the waterway. Return to your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and overnight. Day 6
After an early breakfast, short game drive and depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive back to Kigali, Rwanda, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, take a brief city tour of Kigali, visiting key sites such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, craft markets, and local landmarks. After the tour, transfer to your hotel or Kigali International Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your 6-day primate and wildlife safari. I had troubles with the payment and they try to help me and to find other solutions. All the experiences was amazing, although the journeys were long, we ahad fun. I just came back from an incredible trip to Uganda and… WOW. This country is pure magic! The landscapes look like they came straight out of a documentary, huge lakes, forests where you half expect Tarzan to show up… and most of all, animals everywhere! 🦒🦍🦁 I had one of the most beautiful moments of my life locking eyes with a mountain gorilla – I swear we almost became best friends. Between safaris, I saw elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos… it’s basically a live-action animal kingdom. And the absolute highlight: a huge thank you to our guide Stuart 🙌. Not only does he know Uganda like the back of his hand – every path, every animal, every hidden spot – but he also has a heart of gold. I just returned from this magnificent country and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Uganda is truly a rare gem of Africa, with breathtaking landscapes, dense tropical forests, immense lakes, and, above all, incredible wildlife in the various parks we visited. I was lucky enough to see gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and chimpanze in kibale ,a magical and moving moment. As well as elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, and even leopards during the safaris. The people are incredibly kind and always ready to share their culture and history. A huge thank you to our guide Stuart, who made this trip even more special with his passion, knowledge, and sense of adventure. 🙏 If you're looking for a unique, authentic, and emotionally charged destination, I highly recommend Uganda.
