Day 3
Say goodbye to Victoria Falls as you cross into Botswana’s premier wildlife haven, heading to Chobe Safari Lodge. This historic riverfront retreat, established in 1959 and perched on the banks of the elephant-rich Chobe River, neighbours Chobe National Park and offers stunning sunsets and direct access to boat departures. After a scenic road transfer (typically 1.5–2 hours from Victoria Falls, often via Kazungula border with a guide), settle into your river-facing room or suite with modern comforts and views of hippos, birds, and passing wildlife. Unwind briefly, then embark on your first Chobe adventure perhaps an afternoon boat cruise gliding along the river for close-up sightings of bathing elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife, or a game drive in search of lions, buffalos, and leopards. Alternatively, relax with a sundowner by the river deck, toasting to the golden light over this spectacular wilderness. Your Chobe experience begins! Mid-range lodge in Kasane (Town, Botswana) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
Today is all about exploring Chobe National Park, home to Africa’s largest elephant population and an abundance of wildlife along the iconic Chobe Riverfront. Start your day at Chobe Safari Lodge with a thrilling morning game drive in an open 4x4 into the park, tracking lions, leopards, herds of buffalos, and diverse plains game across the savannah under expert guidance. Return to the lodge for a relaxed brunch and time to unwind by the pool or on the river deck watching hippos and birds. In the afternoon, take to the water on a scenic Chobe River boat safari (or sundowner cruise), gliding past bathing elephants, yawning hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife gathered along the banks for unforgettable close-up encounters. As the sun sets in a blaze of gold over the river, return to the historic lodge to relax, reflect, and share stories of an unforgettable day in the wild, perhaps with a sundowner drink overlooking the Chobe. Pure Chobe magic! Mid-range lodge in Kasane (Town, Botswana) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Bid farewell to the iconic Chobe Riverfront as you journey deeper into Botswana’s wilderness, heading to the stunning Khwai Concession on the northern edge of the Okavango Delta. Mardi organised the most amazing holiday for us in Namibia. I usually do all our travel research, plans and booking but Nambia is vast with so many choices I am so glad I got Mardi to work on our itinerary and book everything She was professional and personable. The planning calls were great and really felt personalized. We loved every place we stayed and she got the right mix of balancing the budget and spending in places where it was worth it. Her itinerary was spot on balancing the mix of driving and activities. Always flexible and prepared to look at different options - think she really understood the type of people we were and what we would like. Great call a week before we left to go through everything, questions and some good travel tips. Car Hire was great and the Viatu App was really useful through out the trip. We felt that everything we did was worth it - just wish we had more time in Nambia, It is a fabulous country to visit and we loved our time there . Thanks Mardi!!

Mardi from Viatu planned every last little detail for our 12 day driving trip around Namibia. This trip exceeded our expectations, from the amazing wildlife to the breathtaking landscapes and the beautiful Namibian people. It truly was the trip of a lifetime. Everything went so smoothly.. We were a bit nervous about the long drives, but they gave us the chance to appreciate the stunning country. Viatu would check in on us to make sure everything was going ok. Definitely use Viatu to book your bucket-list trip. Thanks Mardi!
