Day 1
We will collect you from your hotel at 8:00 AM and depart by 8:30 AM, traveling south toward the world-famous Sossusvlei via the picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. Along the way, we’ll stop at a scenic viewpoint to admire the sweeping vistas of the Namib Desert, one of the oldest in the world. We’ll enjoy a relaxed lunch at the Solitaire Oasis before continuing our journey to your lodge, arriving in the afternoon. As this is the hottest time of the day, we recommend spending some time cooling off by the pool or simply relaxing and taking in the tranquil desert surroundings. An early night is advised, as tomorrow begins with a pre-dawn start to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. Day 2
Today begins with an early morning adventure into the heart of Sossusvlei. You may choose to climb the towering Big Daddy dune or the more accessible Dune 45, before continuing to Deadvlei, famous for its ancient, sculpted camelthorn trees. Afterwards, you can head back to the lodge for lunch or opt for lunch packs and take a quick break in-between adventure under the shade along the Sossusvlei River. In the afternoon, explore the Sesriem Canyon, carved deep into the earth by centuries of erosion. The day ends with a breathtaking desert sunset followed by another delicious dinner at Desert Quiver Camp. Mid-range self catering accommodation located less than 1hr drive from Sossusvlei (Sand Dunes) All meals included Drinks not included
Day 3
After breakfast, you set off on a scenic drive across the vast Namib Desert, passing striking landscapes and open plains before reaching the coastal town of Swakopmund. Upon arrival, check in at Namib Guesthouse. The afternoon is free for you to explore this iconic little town, with its rich culture and history. Lunch and an overnight stay with breakfast are included. You will be taken out for dinner to one of many dining options in town, with various cuisines to choose from. Day 4
Your day is devoted to an unforgettable Marine Dune excursion. Begin with a boat cruise in Walvis Bay, where you may spot seals, dolphins, and flamingos, before continuing with an exhilarating 4x4 drive into the dunes towards Sandwich Harbour. The combination of ocean and desert scenery makes this one of Namibia’s most unique experiences. Return to Swakopmund in the late afternoon, where you will once again stay at Namib Guesthouse. Breakfast is included, and you are free to enjoy dinner at one of the town’s many restaurants. You will have an early morning start for a relatively long drive towards Etosha National Park. On the way, you will stop to visit a traditional Himba village, where you will learn about the customs and traditions of this semi-nomadic community. Upon arrival at Okaukuejo Resort, settle into your bush chalet before heading out for an evening night drive in Etosha. Return for a tasty dinner and close the day off with the tranquil sounds of wildlife at the famous floodlit waterhole. Mid-range chalet located inside Etosha NP All meals included Drinks not included
Day 6
Spend a full day exploring Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. Back at Okaukuejo Resort, you can enjoy the unique experience of watching wildlife congregate at the floodlit waterhole near the lodge again. 5.0/5Family of 4 travelling around Namibia with a quick stop to Victoria falls and Botswana for 32 days. I didn’t know where to start!! I am glad Great Explorations Namibia was there and did all the planning + we were very last minute and they make it happen. Anja was so helpful and so patient with all my questions and respect our budget. She reply quickly to all my requests. Lili was also very helpful and Peter at the car rental. Anja met us on the 1st day and went through the itinerary with us. We had 2 roof top tents and we camped every night. Namibia is now our number 1 country (for it’s beautiful scenery, for the people, for the experience and amazing campsite/lodge). Highly recommended!!!

We found Great Explorations after receiving several answers that indicated that it was too late to plan the trip (2 months before). The team not only answered positively but inmediately understood our expectations, type of experience we wanted and respected our budget. Replies were quick and detailed and the first programme was complete and very well explained. We requested to make slight adjustments that were inmediatly done. The accommodation proposed throughout the trip was excellent and most of the lodges were simply exceptional. Upon arrival, the staff took to time to personally welcome us, review the programme day by day and gave valuable advice. We felt that we had a reliable support for anything we might need along a road trip of many kilometers often in remote areas, Overall a perfect partner for a unique experience. Special thanks to Anja who was extremely professional, available and helpful.

The precision and professionalism of Anja allowed the creation of a perfect trip. Thanks to her help and patient everything was organized in an amazing way, starting from the car rental to the choice of the lodges and the interlocking of activities that allowed us to not miss anything of what this incredible country has to offer. We highly recommend them!

my assistant Anja was fantastic, in everything. Very quick in contact, already during the planning she gave me advice but also followed my instructions on what I wanted. And she's nice as well as competent. But above all, during the trip he solved various problems for me (not regarding reservations, we didn't have any problems with this!) that I would not have been able to handle alone. This was very important. I will never thank her enough. I would recommend Great Exploration Namibia to everyone.
