More than 250,000 victims of the horrible genocide were laid to rest here, and it is currently an honored place of remembrance for these victims. The tour offers a chance to deeply understand how Rwanda was affected by the genocide and how amazingly it has grown and developed. From here, you will set off to Nyungwe National Park, where you will arrive in the evening. Optional visit of the King’s Palace in Nyanza. They are knowledgeable about the forest and will therefore share a lot of information in addition to the chimpanzees. When you find the chimps, you will spend a maximum of one hour with them: watching them, taking photos, and learning about their behaviour. After the trek, you will head to the Gorilla Guardian’s village, where you will immerse yourself in Rwanda’s rich cultural traditions. Among these, the members of the village will present to you the traditional Rwandan wedding.
