Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Depart early in the morning for the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the few places on earth where wildlife still thrives in relatively undisturbed conditions, in numbers reminiscent of Africa’s past. As the northern extension of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is home to the dramatic seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their accompanying predators. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Masai Mara NR Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is famous for its black-maned lions, abundant resident wildlife, and is one of the few places where the Big Five can often be seen in a single morning drive. Cheetahs here are so relaxed around vehicles that they may rest in the shade underneath them during the heat of the day, with some even climbing onto the roof for a better view of potential prey. Bird lovers can also enjoy an extraordinary diversity, with nearly 500 recorded species including 16 types of eagles, various hawks and falcons, six species of vultures, eight species of storks, four species of bustards—including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird—and nine species of sunbirds. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Masai Mara NR All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Located south of Lake Bogoria across the equator in the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru is one of the region’s most famous lakes. Renowned worldwide for its flamingos, the alkaline lake is considered one of Africa’s natural wonders. It also serves as an important rhino sanctuary, home to over 40 black rhinos and more than 60 white rhinos, although the flamingos remain its most iconic attraction. At times, up to two million flamingos can be seen, forming a striking deep pink fringe along the lakeshore. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Mid-range lodge located less than 1hr drive from Lake Nakuru NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
An early morning transfer takes you to Aberdare National Park, travelling through the scenic central Kenya highlands with stops to view tea and coffee plantations along the way. There is also a visit to Karatina, home to the largest open-air market in East Africa, offering a vibrant glimpse of local life and trade. Aberdare National Park is rich in wildlife, including elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black-and-white colobus monkeys, buffalo, warthogs, and bushbucks, among others. More elusive species include the giant forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval, African wild cat, African civet, and blue duiker. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a campsite or lodge. Mid-range lodge located just outside Aberdare NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
Depart early in the morning for Samburu Game Reserve, enjoying a scenic drive with a picnic lunch en route. Upon arrival, proceed for an afternoon game drive. Samburu is one of the most striking parks in Kenya’s Northern Circuit, known for its rugged beauty and unique wildlife species. It is home to a rich variety of indigenous animals, including African elephants, as well as distinctive species such as Grevy’s zebras and reticulated giraffes. Mid-range lodge bordering Samburu NR without fences All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
Spend the entire day exploring this remarkable game reserve, enjoying its peaceful atmosphere and relatively low visitor numbers, which offer a refreshing sense of solitude in nature. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five—elephant, lion, rhino, leopard, and buffalo—alongside species such as gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, endangered wild dogs, and the pancake tortoise. Birdlife is equally impressive, with over 450 recorded species, including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches, and many more, as well as aquatic species found along the Waso Nyiro River. The day is dedicated entirely to game viewing throughout the reserve. Mid-range lodge bordering Samburu NR without fences All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 7
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Samburu before departing late in the morning for Nairobi, arriving at approximately 5:00 pm. Lunch will be served en route. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
