Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive south toward Amboseli. As you approach the park, the landscape opens into vast plains framed by the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy a full day inside Amboseli, beginning with an early morning game drive when the animals are most active. This is the best time to witness elephants marching across the plains, spot predators returning from the night hunt, and capture crisp views of Kilimanjaro before the clouds settle. After breakfast, continue exploring different sections of the park — from the swamp areas rich with birdlife and hippos to the dry lakebeds that attract grazing herds. In the afternoon, you may relax at the lodge or venture out again for another game drive focusing on lions, cheetahs, and Amboseli’s remarkable scenery. Amboseli - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, begin your journey to the Great Rift Valley, descending toward Lake Naivasha. The drive offers dramatic views of escarpments and volcanic formations. Arrive at your Naivasha lodge for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Lake Naivasha, known for its calm waters, floating birdlife, and pods of hippos resting near the shoreline. The lake’s serenity and cool breezes provide a refreshing contrast to the savannah. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its strong rhino population — both black and white — making it one of the best places in Kenya to see them up close. You’ll also encounter Rothschild's giraffes, buffalos, lions, waterbucks, and vibrant bird species along the alkaline shores. In the afternoon, drive to the viewpoints atop Baboon Cliff or Out of Africa Lookout for panoramic views over the lake and the surrounding Rift Valley escarpments. The Mara’s landscape is a continuous mix of open grassland, riverine forests, and acacia woodlands, providing habitats for diverse wildlife. After a picnic lunch by the Mara River or under a shaded acacia tree, continue your search for resident wildlife — large elephant herds, towers of giraffes, buffalo, and countless plains game.
