Day 2
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and journey towards the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve, travelling through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley with scenic viewpoints along the way. The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations, famous for its vast open plains, exceptional wildlife density, and the world-renowned Great Migration. Home to the Big Five and an incredible variety of predators and plains game, the reserve offers some of the best wildlife viewing on the continent. Arrive in the Mara region in time for lunch before heading out on your first game viewing experience through this breathtaking wilderness. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, and countless other species roaming freely across the savannah. As the sun sets over the plains, continue to camp and settle in for an authentic safari evening beneath the African sky. Just outside Masai Mara NR Meals at own expense Drinks not included
Day 3
Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness before heading out on morning and afternoon game drives across the Masai Mara. Covering more than 1,500 square kilometres, the reserve supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Open grasslands, river systems, and rolling plains create the perfect habitat for lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, hyenas, and vast herds of antelope and zebra. Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration, where massive herds of wildebeest and zebra move across the plains in search of fresh grazing, closely followed by predators. Return to camp later in the day for another unforgettable evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Mara. Just outside Masai Mara NR All meals included Drinks not included
Day 4
After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Known as one of Kenya’s premier birdwatching destinations, Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos, pelicans, and over 450 recorded bird species. The park is also an important sanctuary for both black and white rhino, as well as Rothschild giraffe. Enjoy a game drive through the park while searching for rhino, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, lion, and leopard among the acacia woodlands and lakeshore scenery. The park’s landscapes, waterfalls, and wildlife make it one of Kenya’s most picturesque safari destinations. Inside Lake Nakuru NP Meals at own expense Drinks not included
Day 5
After breakfast, continue south through the Great Rift Valley towards the peaceful Lake Naivasha region. Surrounded by dramatic landscapes and rich birdlife, Lake Naivasha is one of Kenya’s most scenic freshwater lakes and offers a slower pace after the previous safari days. Along the shores, it’s common to spot hippos resting in the water while giraffes, zebra, and antelope graze nearby. Optional activities include a boat excursion across the lake or a visit to Crescent Island, where guests can enjoy guided walks among free-roaming wildlife in a unique lakeside setting. Spend the evening relaxing at camp and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the Rift Valley. Budget lodge located at Lake Naivasha (Naivasha) Meals at own expense Drinks not included
Day 6
Today the journey continues towards Amboseli National Park, travelling south through changing landscapes towards the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. On clear days, the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro dominates the horizon, creating one of Africa’s most iconic safari backdrops. Amboseli is best known for its large herds of elephants, many with impressive tusks, as well as its open plains, swamps, and abundant birdlife. Arrive at camp before heading out on an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebra, and numerous bird species found throughout the park’s varied ecosystems. Inside Amboseli NP Meals at own expense Drinks not included
Day 7
After breakfast, depart for a full day of game viewing in Amboseli National Park with picnic lunch included. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli offers some of the best elephant viewing in Africa, often allowing incredibly close encounters with these gentle giants. The park’s wetlands and swamps attract a wide variety of wildlife and bird species throughout the year. As you explore the open plains and marshlands, keep an eye out for Maasai giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, lion, cheetah, hyena, and if fortunate, even leopard moving through the landscape. Later in the afternoon, return to camp where dinner can be enjoyed beneath the African night sky while listening to the sounds of the surrounding wilderness. Inside Amboseli NP Meals at own expense Drinks not included
Day 8
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing Amboseli. Guests may transfer to the Madaraka Express station for their onward train journey to Mombasa, or continue back to Nairobi for your departure. 5.0/5We were a party of 7 from SA and Germany. We had the absolute time of our lives! The communication was great, we wanted to (try) and see as much of Namibia as we could in 9 days. We went to various different places, saw all the must-sees and finished strong in Erongo, which was so luxurious. The value for money was incredible and in general the trip was hassle free, as everything was planned in advance for us. We will definitely book here again.

A perfect trip, that's what Map2Africa arranged for us! Everything was perfectly prepared and send via an app to us. It helped us a lot during our trip. We liked the spots and lodges Marietjie choose for us very much, even as the arranged activities. This will be a trip we'll never forget. It was not the first holiday Marietjie arranged for us and it will definitly not be the last.

Marietjie organised an unforgettable self drive trip to Namibia and Botswana for us. From the first initial contact till the last day of the trip everything se did was perfect. A very well set up itinerary, a very good travel app and a perfect follow up also during the trip making sure all went well. Specially the latter is something which we have not encountered in such extend before and was much appreciated. We recommend Marietjie and Map 2 Africa to everyone planning a trip to any of their destinations in Africa.

My wife and I used them to arrange a self-drive safari through Botswana and into Zimbabwe for the falls. The trip was flawless and it has remained our favorite travel ever. They helped with changes and suggestions throughout the process. Communication was through and timely. I HIGHLY recommend them.
