Arrival in Antananarivo
You'll have a meet and greet at Antananarivo Ivato International Airport with a Friendly Tour guide representative. The driver-guide will bring your name with the company Logo on hand at the airport gate. We will take you to visit the capital city after your arrival process, including the National Museum “Queen Palace”. Then, we will drop you off at your hotel. Antananarivo - Flight to Toliara City -Magily Village
Flight duration: 1hr: 30min We will transfer you back to Ivato Airport. Once you arrive at Toliara Airport, we will meet you and then drive you to Mangily/Ifaty Beach for a one-hour drive. You'll visit Reniala Park, where you can see a family of native tortoises, baobab trees, and dry forest birds. Day 3
Mangily /Ifaty Village - Toliara City - Ranohira Village
At 7:00 am, you'll leave the hotel after breakfast for Toliara City. You'll continue on National Road N°7 for 5 hours to reach Ranohira village. You will admire semi-deserted landscapes, covering the poor local villages. You will stop at the Gems showroom to see the Madagascar precious stones. After the visit, you will continue your road trip and stop at Zombitse National Park for a short guided visit to see endemic birds —lemur species. You'll keep driving to Ranohira village after the visit to spot the sunset color at the Isalo windows and the Isalo Queen statue. The rest of the day is at your leisure at the hotel. Day 4
Guided Visit to Isalo National Park
At 7:30 am, you will gather in the lobby for a short overview of the day's activities led by our local guide, who will provide insights about Isalo National Park, its unique geological formations, and diverse flora and fauna also known as the most visited parks in Madagascar. As you explore the park's stunning landscapes of dramatic sandstone formations, deep canyons, and expansive grasslands, our trail will be tailored to the group’s fitness level and interests, ensuring everyone has an engaging experience. You will enter the canyon forest, experiencing a unique ecosystem filled with towering rock formations and the sounds of cascading waterfalls, while looking out for lemurs and chameleons among endemic flora like the iconic "elephant's foot. You will conclude your visit at 3:30 PM upon returning to the park entrance, allowing your guide to address any final questions you may have. Ranohira Village - Anja Reserve - Ambalavao - Fianarantsoa City
Your guide and driver will meet you after breakfast. You will continue our road n°7 up to Fianarantsoa city for a total 7 hours drive. On route, you will then break at Anja Community Reserve, where you can see a family of Ringtails in freedom. You'll explore the village of Ambalavao by visiting the local factories such as "Havoha Tree Paper, Silk Production, and more. You'll continue to the city of Fianarantsoa by discovering the royal old city story and the tribal culture. We will drop you at the hotel after the visit. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Fianarantsoa City - Ranomafana National Park
At 8:00 am, you'll rive to Ranomafana village for 3 hours after the visit. Once you arrive, you'll meet our local guide and start the hike into this rainforest national park. This area is home to endemic species of birds and lemurs. The hike duration will take you about 3 hours to spot everything through the popular circuits. You'll drive to the hotel after the visit and take a rest before the next activities. In the evening, you will do the night walk with the same local guide to see all night active reptiles, including the Mouse lemur. After breakfast at the restaurant at 8:00 am, you'll depart for Ambositra village for a 4-hour drive along the national road N°7. Upon arrival, we will take you to visit the unique woodcraft factory and open market where you can buy typical souvenirs. You'll enjoy lunch at the Artisan Hotel. Then, you'll continue to Antsirabe town, which is 90 km away on the national road. You will arrive at the hotel in the afternoon, and the rest of the day is at your leisure. Your adventure begins in the heart of Antsirabe, where you’ll stroll along the bustling central avenue. This vibrant thoroughfare is lined with local shops, artisan boutiques, and quaint cafés, offering a glimpse into daily life. Founded by Norwegian missionaries in the 19th century, Antsirabe, known as the "City of Water," is famous for its thermal springs, which have shaped local traditions and communities. After exploring, you’ll board your vehicle and journey along Route N°7, famed for its stunning landscapes and winding through lush hills and picturesque countryside. Keep your camera handy to capture the breathtaking views and the vibrant life of the Malagasy landscape. As you near Andasibe Village, you’ll be enveloped by the enchanting sounds of nature. Surrounded by rich biodiversity, Andasibe is renowned for its lemurs and diverse flora. Day 9
Guided Visit of Analamazaotra National Park - Vakona Private Reserve
At 7:00 AM today, you’ll start early to spot wild animals active in the morning. You'll meet your local guide for a soft hike into the rainforest, renowned for its rich biodiversity, wildlife, and birds, including the largest lemur, the indri-indri. This guided hike will last about over 3 hours, depending on wildlife sightings. Afterward, you'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then drive to Vakona Private Reserve, where you can see various lemur species, including the ring-tailed lemurs on their island. In the evening, around 6:00 PM, we’ll reconvene for a guided night walk in the park to see the small "Mouse" lemur and other reptiles. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel. Andasibe Village - Reptiles Park -Antananarivo
At 7:30 AM, your guide and the driver will meet you for a final day drive back to Antananarivo, a journey of approximately 4 hours along National Road N°2. Along the route, you will stop at the reptile park to see a few species of reptiles, including chameleons, frogs, geckos, bats, snakes, and more. After your visit, you will continue your drive back to Antananarivo, the capital. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore the city center, visit the Queen's Palace, and enjoy the panoramic viewpoint of the city before dropping you off at your hotel. From start to finish, this tour was an unforgettable experience. When enquiring about planning this trip ,Tony was very responsive, informative and. answered all our questions as we went along .When my suitcase didn't arrive in Madagascar Tony sorted it for me and negotiated with the airline on my behalf, going above and beyond and was very much appreciated Our guides were all knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the whole trip both fun and informative. The itinerary was perfectly balanced — we saw all the major highlights without ever feeling rushed, and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos, ask questions, and just soak up the atmosphere. The transportation was comfortable, everything ran smoothly and on time, and as it was a private tour we were able to spend as little or as much time at each place as we chose. Every stop had something unique to offer, and the insider stories and local tips really brought the culture to life. It’s rare to find a tour that gets every detail right, but this one truly did, guides were on time , transfers were smooth, everything was flexible to our wishes. Hugh thanks to Tony, Sidney, Princee and Nico. The drivers were all awesome and we always felt safe despite some roads been very African massage- bumpy ! We left with amazing memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for the country. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience.
