Day 1
Kayaking at Unva Muhazi and Transfer to Akagera National Park
Depart Kigali in the morning and drive to Unva Muhazi where you will spend a half day. You will do a Kayaking experience on Lake Muhazi, have lunch before proceeding to Akagera National Park. Arrive in the evening and stay at Akagera Rhino Lodge located outside the park. Mid-range lodge located just outside Akagera NP Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Game drive and Return to Kigali
This morning, you will check out and drive to the Park through the Southern gate for a full day game drive where you will be able to cover both the South & North parts of the Park. Lunch will be at Mihindi Cafe. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

I had the chance to visit the Akagera Park with my family. It was an incredible and extraordinary moment to see. To see so many animals of different species in a landscape as beautiful as the akagera park I recommend it to everyone. Our tour guide was great with us, they gave us the name of each species we could see and explained to us how they live. On topar of that he was funny and professional. He was able to speak to us in English, Kinyarwanda and even a little French so that everyone could understand. It was a very nice day for us and I advise you. In addition to that quality/price levels are very reasonable.

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he made us feel comfortable throughout the tour. The communication and service were great, and it was good value for money. He explained every animal in detail and even made sure we saw a lion before we left.
