Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and drive through Kenya’s scenic central highlands toward northern Kenya. Arrive at Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive along the Ewaso Ng’iro River, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, lions, and other unique northern wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, soaking in the sounds of the wild. Spend a full day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives across its rugged landscapes. Look out for rare northern species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, as well as elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs along the Ewaso Ng’iro River. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and continue wildlife viewing through the afternoon before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
