Day 1
Cape Town to Kruger National Park
You can fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport from either Cape Town. We will also meet you at Eastgate for transportation to Dumela Tented Camp. After relaxing and taking advantage of the amenities, you'll depart at 3:00 pm for a 3-hour open vehicle afternoon game drive in the Greater Kruger Blue Canyon aboard an open safari vehicle. You'll witness some of the park's iconic wildlife before heading back to camp around 7:00 pm for a delectable boma fire meal and a serene night under the starlit sky. You'll wake up early at 5:30 am to prepare for a full-day safari in Kruger National Park. Departure times will be confirmed the night before based on animal activity, ensuring optimal wildlife viewing. Your Kruger Park safari will span 7 to 8 hours, allowing ample time to relax back at camp before dinner by the fire. You'll enjoy dinner under the stars every evening. Panorama Route
You'll wake up early to be ready for your unforgettable Panorama Route tour, bringing a change of scenery to your exciting 5-day safari. The Panorama tour will take you along an exhilarating and iconic route where you will witness the following unforgettable landmarks: Berlin Falls, God’s Window, The Pinnacle, 3 Rondawels, and Blyde River Canyon. Your day may proceed in one of two ways: an early departure for the Panorama Route Tour with breakfast along the route and an earlier return, or having breakfast at the lodge first, departing and returning later. Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
After breakfast, it is time for goodbyes and your return shuttle to Johannesburg. You should arrive back at OR Tambo International Airport around 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm. Optional extras (one of the following): - 1-hour bushwalk before breakfast (subject to availability). R350 per person sharing. - 3-hour sunrise drive in Blue Canyon, Greater Kruger. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
