Day 1
Upon your arrival at Seronera Airstrip, our professional driver guide will warmly welcome you. For your first day, you will enjoy exciting game drives in the Seronera area and the Central Serengeti, known for its abundant wildlife and iconic landscapes. This will give you a perfect introduction to the Serengeti's diverse ecosystem. The following morning, you will head to the Northern Serengeti, where you’ll continue your safari adventure with a full-day game drive focusing on the Great Wildebeest Migration. This remarkable spectacle features over two million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles on their annual journey through the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems in search of green pastures. Day 2
After an early breakfast, you'll have a game drive. The Northern Serengeti offers a chance to escape the crowds: this region of the park — wedged between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north— is remote and relatively inaccessible, which means it sees fewer visitors. Travelers who make it to this corner of the Serengeti will be rewarded with gorgeous landscapes. The 800-kilometer trek of the immense wildebeest herd is the largest mammal migration on earth. The timing of the migration coincides with the greening of nutritious grasses on the short-grass plains during the wet season. These areas are safer because predators can be easily spotted, making it an ideal place for calving. However, the plains are dry, and the wildebeest are forced to move in search of greener pastures in the western corridor. The northern extension of the ecosystem has the highest rainfall, but the grasses are least nutritious. Day 3
After breakfast, you'll have a full-day game drive searching migration crossing the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti National Park. If you’re planning a safari from Northern Serengeti, you’re in for a treat. The Serengeti National Park is home to a variety of wildlife species, including the Big Five, such as elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos and leopards, which are considered the most difficult wildlife species to hunt on foot. Other wildlife species that can be seen during a safari around Serengeti National Park include wildebeests, zebras, cheetahs, hippos, antelopes, impalas, and waterbuck. The annual migration of two million ungulates, wildebeest through Serengeti National Park, is the greatest wildlife spectacle of its type in Africa, and perhaps the world. Although variations occur from year to year, the Serengeti migration follows a reasonably predictable annual cycle, dictated by local rainfall patterns. The Great Migration cycle breaks up into the following periods. Mid-range tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 4
Early morning game drive towards the Central Serengeti for game drive. The great migration is supposed to be in this area from late July to mid-October, crossing the famous Mara River to the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya and back to the Serengeti. You will have a high opportunity to see them crossing while in the river, and attack them. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the possibility of watching a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest as well as hippo pools, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest. You journey from the wide-open plains to the kopjes: these volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals, and from the top, you can look out across the vast grasslands. After the game drive, you will be transferred to Hhando Coffee Lodge in Karatu for 4 Hours. Mid-range lodge located in Karatu (Town) All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 5
After breakfast, you will find your driver-guide ready to pick you up and start your safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo). Other animals that can be found in the crater include wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, hyenas, jackals, hippos, and antelopes 12. The crater is also home to the world’s densest lion population and the highest density of lions in the world. Additionally, the crater hosts the rare black rhino. It is important to note that giraffes are not found inside the crater, as the steep walls of the crater form a natural barrier for them. After the game drive, you will be transferred to Arusha. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Non-alcoholic drinks
